If you were not a call center agent/BPO employee, what would you be?

Greetings,

If the "call center boom" did not happen here in the Philippines, in what industry would you be? What was that childhood dream that you used to tell your classmates when you were young? What was that career goal that you were aiming when you were in college? What was that calling that almost brought you somewhere else?

I think it would be really insteresting for some of us here to share their thoughts about what would we could have been instead.

Let me start...

I could have been a priest. But no, it was not my past BPO employments that kept me from entering the seminary. My wife did. But I met my wife in Accenture, so that explains the BPO connection.

Reminds me of a very good friend who took up Consular and Diplomatic Affairs in Benilde. She used to work with DFA, and after that she moved to Convergys. Now she's in JP Morgan.

Kaso, medyo mahilig ako sa computer, the pay that Im getting now is the pay almost tripled than a entry level teacher is getting. I just graduated last 2007.

kung hindi ako isang callcenter employee malamang sa parlor ako nagwowork katulad ni khaluamartini... magkasosyo sana kami ni khaluamartini kaso nalaman kong mang-aagaw pala siya ng lalaki kaya di na lang ako tumuloy makipagsosyo sa kanya.. magtatayo sana kami ng parlor at beauty salon at kokompetensiyahin namin si mama ricky reyes...

ay naku balak yata magpahandle nyan sayo ni khaluamartini.. wala kasing nakukuhang customer yan ngayon kahit saan saan na tumatambay yan.. laging laman yan ng mga gaybars pero hindi siya nilalapitan ng mga lalaki.. mukha daw kasi siyang paa...

ibugaw mo daw yan si khaluamartini kasi malaki ang pagkaka-utang nyan dahil dun sa pinagawa nyang boobs kamakailan lang.. di nga pa yata magaling yung boobs nyan eh..
