Hi MD's i want to be a doctor.
I really want to become a doctor but we lack resources (financially). i will apply for scholarships, but i am just an average student. I am posting this message if there's a possibility that i could get a doctor who can sponsor me to achieve my dreams.

Mas madaling makakuha ng scholarship for residency / graduate studies. Not sure if the same applies to those who have yet to take up medicine. Scholarship means they will shoulder your tuition fee and a lot of the expenses related to your studies ( books, photocopies, scientific seminars, etc. )
You'll have to render several years of service at the AFP.
Sila ata ang may pinamababang tuition fee for medicine. Pinopondohan ang PLM ng local government of Manila.
Thank you sa reply. question po, do i need to train din as a soldier? ganun po ba? kung ganun po mukhang malabo po kasi hindi ko po nature yung ganun.
regarding sa PLM naman po, mag a-apply po ako dun for next school year. hopefully makapasok.. pero if not, sponsor doctor na lang po :(. target school ko po kasi eh sa UST. sobrang gusto ko po kasi mag aral sa UST FMS and be a thomasian doctor someday.
thank you po sa reply smile warrior.
You may also go for UP or PLM, since those two have the most affordable tuitions. Yun nga lang, the competition can be very stiff.
Alternatively, meron ding mga scholarships (DOH, PinoyMD, regional etc. ) na available. Just do some research and try applying.
I agree with Kraven, competetive nga ang pag-aaply sa UP ( I'm an Isko ) at PLM kasi ang daming gustong makapasok.
My mother's a doctor. She studied at both UST (med) and UP (subspecialization). Maganda ang medical program ng UST. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali malapit sa P90,000 or more ata per semester ang tuition.
Good luck.
Hi kraven! Thanks for posting. average student lang ako.
Hi again smile!
wow. doctor pala mom mo. i really admire doctors especially when they wear their uniforms. sobrang hanga talaga ako and at the same time naiinggit.
yung tuition ngayon ay nasa 102,000 pesos. plus books pa na nasa 16,000 lahat. per semester. di namin kaya yun.:(
UST FMS offers scholarships sponsored by alumni associations based in the US. syempre in order to be qualified, you must be officially enrolled to the faculty and you should meet the requirements. during your graduation ceremonies, when you get up on stage, they'll be mentioning that you're a recipient of this certain scholarship whether you graduate with honors or not.
goodluck & God bless!
:( but i really want to be a doctor someday. determined po talaga ako.
