leg press safer than squats?

  • i prefer squat (actually freeweights). kasi kontrolado mo. yung naglegpress ako takot ako sa back ko. parang tagasalo kasi ng bigat.

    Agree. I felt this yesterday when I did Squats for EDT PR Zone 15 mins. It's as if you're gonna faint but you just have to suck it up for you to beat your current PR.

  • If Squat will be renamed LEG SQUAT, then most gymgoers would do this during their "Leg" Days. In our gym that's the common misconception. They will always ask me, dude what is a squat? I'll then answer them, the one you do when you take a **** in the toilet bowl:bop:

    Yep, squat is superior to leg press... I'vd been doing squat since I started weightlifting... I dislike leg press cause it hurts my knee pretty bad... And sa lahat ng ng-g-gym sa amin, only two, including me, performs full squat...

  • IMO lang po kung ikokompara yung leg press sa squats in terms of safety but please correct me if im wrong

    ^ Leg presses are actually more dangerous since most people round their backs when leg pressing
  • ^ have you read the article ba? naexplain naman sa article kung bakit dangerous ang leg press and prone sya sa lower back problems
