What is your worst Job Interview?

Hey guys!
Have you ever had a worst job interview?
Let me tell you mine.

NCO (2006):
During the final interview, the HR asked me to pronounce "th" with my tongue sticking out. When I tried it, spit came out and landed on her legs.
I wiped it off and we proceeded with the interview.
After that, I waited in the lobby for the results.
After 10 mins, I found out I failed.
I don't know if its the spit or I didn't do well.

Acquire Asia Pacific (2010):
During the final interview: Tosh, the manager asked me what my idea of "online" is.
I answered: "What do you mean online? I think the question is vague."
She said: "you know, online"
I answered back: "what online? the internet?":bop:
She said: "online."
I said back: "what online? Again I think you are being vague.":bop:
After that, she asked me another question.
Hahahahaha!!! Stupid manager ever!
And by the way, I never got the job in Acquire.

Bhagis International Trading Corporation. an Indian operated Company that sells appliances. I applied as a Graphic Artist.

I went there last year. They are the ones who invited me to apply due to a referral from their affiliated company(yun pala taas lang ng building) via text. I went there and I've wasted 10 hours in their office.

    Nandun na ako mga 9AM

I filled the application form. waited till 11AM

I dunno, pero parang sila pa yung Sobrang demanding nila sa interview, I went there to apply because they just invited me. And because the fact that the company has little to no presence on the internet, I did not knew that the company was operated by indians kaya medyo naguguluhan ako sa interview kahit pinay naginterview sakin lol.

1PM-2PM Mandatory Written IQ test. the usual.

5:30PM-6:30PM Idle ulit inaantay yung indian boss

6:30PM-6:45PM Ininterview ako ng Boss. I've waited on his room for 10 mins then the interview is just 5 mins.

Worst was when I was interviewed by an old man who was ending my own sentences. He wasn't even looking me in the face and didn't really seemed to be enjoying his job as HR.
Buti na rin I wasn't hired because if ever, I would have to deal with people like him.

    Panel interview 7vs1. Gisang-gisa talaga.

nainterview ako ng isang matandang architect who seems to be so insecure about his position, e senior developer lang naman yung inaapplayan ko. medyo sarcastic and binabara yung mga sinasabi ko kahit the other guys who are conducting the panel interview clearly agrees with me. hayyz..

Halos same lang tayo. Napa icecream ako ng sandamakmak after nun :bop:

Medyo matagal na itong experience na ito, but I still hear the same stories of different variation.

I applied in a company in ABC cinema sa Guadalupe (nandon pa ba yung building na yon?) for a certain position.

After the interview, they request for original copies of TOR and sedula. I don't bring original copies of TOR because I know the companies will not require for it. So photocopy lang ng TOR and original sedula yung nabigay ko.

Orientation na that same day, pinagbebenta kami ng products nila, then after ma-reach yung quota hired na raw kami.

hahahah parang alam ko tong company na to ah.. malaking company to right? if not, anyway parang ganyan din nangyari sakin. :grrr:

Hahahhaha, alam ko ito, siguro parepareho lang tayo ng experience at isang tao lang ito, pero nung time ko naging humble ako, kaya after ng interview ang bilis nya magtransform at nakangiti na ulit, kinogratulate nya ako and I made it to the last interview and was hired. Iniisip ko kasi sinapsyche lang ako ng taong ito, and siguro mas worst pagnasa actual work na since clients are foreigners, mas matindi ang pressure. So i believe, tinetest kung paano natin ihandle ang pressure especially sa mga difficult times.

    where I currently work,

I decided to be humble, that's how I handle people, mapa peer, client or boss pa yan, treat them the way you really treat people not the way they treat you. And as I've said, during the course of the interview, I was able to figured out that everything is a test and that the ball is mine. If I screwed that time, I might not be able to get hired, anyway, di naman sila ang nakasama ko for the rest of my stay in the company so whats the deal. This type of interview is an approach to validate the consistency of what you are telling them and what you have written in your CV.

    JP Morgan

Somebody called me for an interview while I was riding a jeepney. I couldn't hear him clearly. And when he asked me if I knew JP Morgan, I said yes (even though I had no idea what JP Morgan was at that time). So for a follow-up question, he asked me what I know specifically about JP Morgan. I couldn't answer, and I kept stuttering. Until he just answered his own question. It was my worst job interview ever. O f course I never got a callback.
