Words You Like

I dunno if it's just me but there are some words that stick to my head because they give me some sort of a pleasant feeling. Like this term in figure skating:
Triple Salchow
I just like how the commentators say it. "Woah a perfect Triple Salchow!"
Can you share some of the words you like?
BTW, the word ointment makes me laugh.

shenanigans, I've been using this word since I was fifteen regularly lol, I can't take it off my vocabulary now.
schnookums
shindig, falafels, scamper, gallivant
hilarious and cute: buttons, fairies, snuggles, sphincters (lol)
Oh.
Hi there, sweetie.
i call almost everyone sweetie. sometimes, it becomes sarcastic. :hiya:
hey, another word that i like: sarcastic. :glee:
hehe, same here, but not sweetie. I use dearie.
i like the sound of highfalutin words such as:
bifurcate
discombobulate
behooves
especially if they come from the filthy mouth of a sinister English scholar (i.e. mala Stewart griffin)
also whippersnapper and redheaded
and it's not quite cromulent (the second word is a giveaway), but i get a kick out of pol medina's pneumostreptoccocal pomtiddlypompom, a faux-technical word that is supposedly the medical term for laziness! :rotflmao:
Derogatory: wench, cur, harlot
Funniest word I heard a little 3 year old say after hearing it from his stupid uncle (me): uglyuglyschmeagol
In a press statement on the website of ADS (American Dialect Society), "tweet" was voted as the Word of the Year while "google" was voted as the Word of the Decade.
Some previous Word of the Year are 9/11(2001), metrosexual(2003), to be plutoed(2006)... I actually like their selection.
And "Word of the Millennium" is she and the "Word of the Century" is jazz.
Votes were cast by the organization's members; composed of writers, linguists, academicians, students, etymologists, grammarians, historians, lexicographers, editors and researchers.

anyway, let's upgrade the topic a bit. TS, wag ka magalit ha? i'm just curious, and we are on the topic of favorite words right? would you name your future children after a word from the English language? like, with the Chinese and Japanese, their names are just words. would you do the same thing? what words would you choose?
i would like to have a son named Justice.
I want to name my son based from a word too but it's a Filipino term. Cannot divulge it here due to personal reasons. Haha.
But when I get a beagle for a pet, I want to name him/her Digit.
Digit sounds cute.
@FA, what does pekopeko mean?
