Can anyone help me how to apply for membership and where?
I'm from QC and does anyone know if they have a local chapter in this vicinity?

You can go to PNA Main Office near Pedro Gil/Paco Area.

You just need to show them some proof that you passed the board exam (board rating, PRC stub or license) and some valid IDs. Then you need to pay the membership fee (not sure exactly how much, I think mga 300-1000 pesos) and they'll give you your blank ID.

May mga seminars/workshop schedules din na nakapost dun if you're interested.

Malayo sa amin ang malate, I am from pasig area, does anyone knows kung saan pa pwedeng mag apply ng membership sa PNA, other than sa main office nila? May nabasa kasi ako sa all nurses site na pwede daw sa mga nursing offices sa mga hospitals, is this true?

PNA Id Cards cost 400.00, tapos marerelease daw siya at the date of registration. So ibig sabihin sa PRC na lang din?

Renewal, pwede sa mga nursing offices ng mga hospitals sa mga malalapit sa inyo.

actually, may kwenta naman kahit paano. magagamit mo to sa pag-apply (as staff nurse ha) sa mga ibang hospitals. isang requirement kasi nila to. kung titingnan mo, mahal talaga sya. yung akin kasi dati ngexpire na, nung ng-apply ako sa isang hospital, hiningan nila ako ng pna card, kaya ayun no choice kundi mgrenew..

dapat people in PNA dapat ang sumagot nyan, ano ba talaga ang natutulong nila sa mga members. marami na naman nakapasa ng board so 30,000 x 400...

actually, PNA should do something about nursing unemployment in the country. They should, being the largest group / organization in the country, take initiative to let Congress know the nursing situation. It's not that the Congress is unaware of the situation, but given the kind of work Congress is doing, they need constant reminder and constant realization.

question po paano po kung expired na ang PNA ko nang december 2009.. and magrerenew ako ngayon.. magkano kaya ang babayaran ko?

It is very much advisable to renew your PNA card on November 1, 2010 onwards. They have different renewal and expiration dates now.

I think, it's still 400 pesos. You may try at PNA, they may already have cards available that is valid until October 31, 2011 because the latest batch of RNs has it.

i emailed them, and they advised me to go there november for my PNA renewal.. registration for 2011 membership will start at november 1 2010 (holiday!?). Membership expires october 1, 2011..This costs 400 pesos.
