FACE OFF Dance Battle: A Hiphop Dance Competition
Important Dates:
August 22, 2009 (Saturday) HIPHOP ROYALE Round 1: The Skills event (eliminations)
October 2, 2009 (Friday) HIPHOP ROYALE Round 3: The Swagger event (finals)
Mechanics:
The Face Off (eliminations)
1. Open to all non-professional, college based/non-profit dance groups composed of 6-8 members.
2. Submit the participants' full name, age, birthday, school and contact numbers to [email protected] with the subject "Face Off Dance Battle." The deadline of entry forms is on August 19, 2009.
3. Prepare a 3-5 minute hiphop dance routine.
4. Participants must submit their music (.mp3) to [email protected] on or before August 19, 2009.
5. Each dance group member must submit at least 3 San Mig Strong Ice crowns during HIPHOP ROYALE Round 1: The Skills on August 22, 2009.
6. Three (3) semi-finalists will advance to the final round of FACE OFF Dance Battle during HIPHOP ROYALE Round 3: The Swagger on October 2, 2009.
Prizes to be won during the Final Round of FACE OFF Dance Battle
1st Place: 5 cases of Beer + 15K
2nd Place: 3 cases of Beer + 10K
3rd Place: 2 cases of Beer + 5K
Criteria For Judging
30% - Creativity
20% - Incorporation of the HipHop Royale Lifestyle
20% - Difficulty
10% - No. of SMSI crowns collected
10% - Audience Impact
