Hello guys.. Dis is Edison.. matagal na po akong pexters pero now lang ako nagregister...

Eto lang po tanong ko..

Ano pa po bang callcenter ang hindi nagrerequire ng medical examination?

Lam niu kasi nakapasa ako sa isa sa top or sikat na bpo company kaso di ako nakapasa sa medical kaya void ulit yung application ko. Pero gusto ko parin magwork sa isang callcenter co. while inaayos ang kunting problem sa medical ko. Sana reply kayo dito sa thread ko. I'm always online naman eh.

    Sorry to tell you, walang pa akong naririning na call center na walang medical examination. It's a Standard Operating Procedure before makakuha ka ng work. Magpagaling ka muna before mag apply uli.

    True, all companies will require you to undergo a medical examination before you start working with them. Kasi nga, kung may sakit ka at gagamitin mo ang HMO, "malulugi" sila, kasi they'd have to shoulder your expenses. They have to abide by the law din. If you're not fit to work, then they won't hire you, you also won't be covered by the company's HMO.

    Magpagaling ka na lang muna para diretso na ang trabaho. Baka yung kaunting problema mo, in the long run, maging major problem for you that would force you to stop working din. Sayang ang kikitain mo.

    usually ang bumabagsak sa medical ay yung may spot sa lungs or problem sa baga..kawawa naman yung mga magiging office mate mo kung makakalusot ka..mas maganda magpagaling ka muna..

    Guys I have been with KGB Philis.. This is a Directory Assistance Call Centre, Located in Sta Rosa.. Okay naman ang working environment.. what is best is .. JUST PASS ALL THE INTERVIEWS AND EXAMS... TAPOS FINAL INTERVIEW... TRAINING KANA.. WALANG MEDICAL PRE QUALIFICATIONS WHATSOEVER.....

    first...hindi lahat ng may spot sa lungs ay infectious, kahet nga may TB depende sa test na isasagawa ng doctor mo yun...

    rest ka muna while taking your meds siguro marami pang work pero yung health mo iisa lang yun

    don't you think it's kinda odd or "careless" if a company doesn't require a pre-employment medical exam?

    - hazard to the health of the employee (what if he/she is not aware that he/she is sick, this might have been prevented if a medical exam was done)
    - hazard to the health of other employees (what if the new employee has a contagious disease that might jeoperdize the health of others)
    - employee unfit to work (multiple absences that will affect the employees performance during probationary period and the companies performance and revenue)
    - employee under the influence of prohibited drugs (no need to elaborate)

    etc. etc. etc....

    that is why it SHOULD be an SOP for a company :D

    magpagaling na lang yung may sakit. isipin mo na lang kung makahawa eh di pano na yung ibang walang malay? mahiya naman sa balat at maawa.

    anyway, meron namang palang mga companies na hindi required yung med exam. ang maipapayo ko na lang eh CAREFUL na lang kayo at baka may AIDS na yung katabi nyo.

    guys,i just wanna know kung meron kayong alm na call center company na di masyado mahigpit sa medical...may frnd kc ko na hepa b reactive and gusto nya itry sa call center industry..gusto nya *** nmn mgktrbho and i think he's good enough when it comes to english fluency.....tinanong ko *** *** di masayang time nya,kc kung makapasa nga sya,then babagsak *** nmn pgdting sa medical,.nakakaawa nmn,db?.....thanks in advnce.....

    I'm not really sure kung nirerequire nila sa medical *** hepab screening kasi parang wala ata akong matandaan ganyang test sa mga past call center jobs ko. Anyone who can give more information about this?

    besides, sa mga di nakapasa meron pa rin naman option di ba? pwede nyong i-waive na lang para di kayo gastusan ng company nyo. like high BP, pwede kayong pumirma ng waiver na di sasagutin ng company nyo kung anong mang sakit ang idulot ng high bp nyo. like stroke, heasrt attack, etc.

    another example na lang sa may mga sirang ngipin na dapat ipabunot na, pwede naman i-waiver din na di sasagutin ng company nyo yung tooth extraction or tooth restoration.

    sa mga diabetic, pwede kayong humingi ng second opinion/recommendation kung fit talaga kayo to work

    meron mga call center na di nagrequire ng medical examination eto yung mga small fry tipong scam ang nature ng account nila bigla kaagad isasabak sa calls kung ano yun!? e maghanap hanap ka o kaya mag apply ka marami ka makakausap na galing sa mga di kilalang callcenter.

    how about kung nagkaroon ka ng scar sa lungs due to bronchitis or pneumonia years ago. di naman basta basta naghihilom ang scar sa lungs di ba? so everytime na xray ka andun pa din. and dahil walang further examination hanggang xray lang, sasabihin nila na may tb ka at unfit to work ka? is it fair?

    is the medical examination different from a physical examination?..

    if so...required ba ang physical exam particularly sa private areas...and do you have the option to tell the doctor na ayaw mo maexamine dun sa private parts
