    Gladiators best picture?

This is the award giving body that handed Pia Zadora Best Actress, right?
  • no tita NOEL VERA. it's the institution that gave Pia Zadora the "promising new performer" award then later took that category out, much to the chagrin of all joan riverses. hay, buhay!ching!

*i mourn the death of good filipino movie criticism*
  • Crouching Tiger and Gladiator won awards? BAH! There goes my respect for the Golden Globes. I thought they were cool when they gave recognition Bill Murray and Jim Carrey, but that was then.

Julia Roberts deserved it!!!!! excellent performance!!!! Oscars na ang susunod!!!
  • it's nice to see Almost Famous win...Gladiator i think is over-rated but still one of the best films this year...i got bored by Traffic (hindi ko tinapos but i'm sure it's a good film...like the story of Douglas' drug taking daughter)...Tom Hanks! IDOL KITA!!! i really hope you win the OSCAR! Julia...IT'S ABOUT TIME! i'm also rooting for you in the Oscar race! i think Kate Hudson deserved the award...sobrang effective siya as Penny Lane! up to now i still think she IS penny lane! Benicio del Toro is galeng in Traffic (from what i've seen)! all in all, i'm happy with the winners...although i still think Friends should've been nominated for Best Comedy Show!!!!!!!!
  • im watching it right now on Star Tv...

naawa ako kay Julia Roberts when she presented Best Director...you really see the dissappointment in her face but she tried her best to hide it...im glad Robert Downey Jr. won also...he got a standing ovation! renee zellweger was in the banyo when she won!!! haha!!! sayang...hindi nanalo si Sarah Michelle Gellar ng Best Actress for Buffy...don't you think it's about time?!
  • why was julia roberts disappointed? because the director of erin didnt win?

Ah. Buti na lang someone keeps track of important points like that.

You must be delighted with what I'm doing, then.

Ang Lee doesn't deserve best director, Yuen Woo Ping does.

"NOT VERY GOOD DI BA SINCE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE WHEN IT COMES TO SHOWBIZ CHICKA"

Knowledgeable? In showbiz chicka? In the Golden Globes?

Never watched one. I don't watch the Academy Awards too, for that matter.

"*****OY, HINDI NAMAN, ITO NAMAN, NAG-MAMARILOU DIAZ-ABAYA KA DYAN. PORKE BA VERY-VERY SUCCESSFUL ANG TANGING YAMAN*****"

Again, with the showbiz chicka. So what did Abaya do, anyway?

"Ang Lee doesn't deserve best director, Yuen Woo Ping does.

"*****HUWAG NAMAN, LETS GIVE CREDIT TO WHERE CREDIT IS DUE."

I just did. "Crouching Tiger" is overrated, except for the fight scenes.

    "CHING!"

    Beep-beep.
