Rep. Jose De Venecia Jr: The Politicians True Color
True to being a Trapo, his deeds never changed even under the present administration. It can be recalled that JDV had nowhere to go when he beggingly clung to PGMAs party to sustain his political career, contrary to reports that Mrs. Arroyo tapped him to help promote the latters Presidency. With the Presidents willingness to help him survive in the political arena, she willingly put JDV under her wings. In the eyes of the media JDV made it well under the present administration as a trapo, not until his son, Joey De Venecia III made a mess with the aborted ZTE-NBN deal that dipped his father in the mud.

Republic Act No. 7832 is the main law responsible for legalizing system loss charge. it was enacted into law by the 9th congress.
EPIRA is the law that is causing the corupt NAPOCOR to manipulate prices in the WESM.
I am not in anyway convinced that "destroying" Meralco is equal to cheaper power rates for the entire Philippines.
Anyway, back to topic.
JDV is the typical trapo. If he really is for truth, justice and accountability dapat noon pa lang kumalas na siya kay GMA. Baliw lang ang maniniwala pa sa kanya ngayon.
dyonyor and da turd
This is the reason why serge osmeña and sonny osmeña will never win if they run for governor in cebu province...or even for mayor of cebu city...
these osmeñas are a disgrace of the cebuanos...
FVR.. ERAP... at ngayon...
True to his consistent blunder, never did he thought about what he is saying, surmising tactlessness, rudeness and insolence. This is not the first time he did it. He did it first when he pronounced about his witness who can testify about the secret meeting between the First Couple and the ZTE officials in Shenzhen, China years ago. Up until now, no witness testified about his claim deducing a bluff just intended to get some attention. He was also metaphorically slapped in the face when security officials and some personalities stressed that the meeting was no secret at all.
This time, Suplico has done it once again at a very wrong timing when our kababayans in Iloilo is in distress resulting from typhoon Franks wrath. Once again he failed to use his IQ, readily accusing the President of delaying the shipment of relief goods so that she can spearhead the relief operations in the province. Suplico never even thought that our Air Force has a limited number of C-130H cargo planes that are capable of delivering the much needed goods. Besides, the airplane maintenance (which caused the delay) was brought about by the continuous operations for typhoon stricken areas. Perhaps Suplico never even thought our Air Forces capabilities have its own limitations.
Having allies from the political opposition, Suplico and his cohorts echoed in claiming that the President have no concern over the victims of the recent disaster. Insatiable as the opposition group is, they didnt even thought that the present administration as a whole was on top of the situation; coordinating, arranging and doing every means to address the needs of the typhoon victims even if the President is on state visit. The NDCC, AFP, local groups etc. are there on their initiative with the countrys leadership overseeing every development even during in official functions outside the country.
Now, with Suplico and the oppositions perennial blunders, we can expect a landslide of public reactions from their tactless pronouncements. On top of this, it only proves that the opposition doesnt know where to place politics and immediate concerns, especially in times when the people from Iloilo need them most. It is all too clear that the opposition tends to grab every opportunity to discredit the present administration even amidst the grave need of our country men and that is in times of emergencies.
Suplico alone is a considerable vulture who preys on exploitable issues even without due justification for his claims. Perhaps he should answer first Cerge Remondes question: has he done anything to address the disaster? As Vice Governor of Iloilo, he should have been helping his people instead of politicizing at the worst possible time. What more can we expect from the opposition group as a whole? Perhaps a lot of politicizing and the lack of public service at all
korek ganyan talaga ang mga politiko magaling sa publicity pero hindi nila ginagawa trabaho nilo puro batikos sila kaya tayo. ang kawawa sila sumisikat...
