Let's Just be Friends

Ok, so I like this girl. a lot. and when i told her I liked her, She said, 'Let's just be friends'.

I want the friendship to continue but as a couple. Sadly she just wants to be friends. It's quite hard to maintain the friendship as it is because of my feelings.

What should I do? Can i really deal with it being a platonic relationship? I really don't want to lose the friendship, so ending the friendship is not an option.

    if getting close to the girl makes your feelings grow, ya better give the friendship up. you will have that "asa ka na lang!" bubbling in your head and the girl will be very uncomfortable when you try doing things for her that normal friends dont do (if you know what i mean).

    am not being rude. that's just my two cents.

    mukhang hindi na kayo puwede maging friends. pag nagtuloy kayo as friends, malalaman mo lang mga details ng mga lakad niya like dates o kaya bago niyang bf.. ikaw lang mahihirapan at masasaktan. at stressful din yan eh. atras ka na lang.. nope, huwag mo munang kalimutan.. hehehe.. hindi madali gawin pero, dumistansiya ka na para re-focus attention mo sa ibang bagay.

    never ever do that. you will lose even the friendship. who knows, maybe when she sees how patient you can be, baka mapilit din ang pag-ibig. but that's about 10 to 15% probable.


    bottomline : just forget her..dami pang isda sa dagat!

    "let's just be friends" is the subtle way of saying she's not romantically interested in you. if you don't want to end the friendship, hope you can handle seeing her dating other guy/s. :kitty:
