Supposedly the car that beat the Bugatti EB16.4 Veyron's record as fastest production car.
The Veyron has been recorded capable of 253mph in the correct configuration. That's 407.33 km/h.
I doubt the SSC is as easy to drive as the Veyron...which is why the Bugatti is also the most expensive road car ever. And they even made a "Pur Sang" (Pure Blood) version for the recent Frankfurt Motor Show made of bare aluminum and carbon fiber.
In the end pataasan lang ng ihi yan. Top speed is nice but 99% of people aren't going to have the ideal conditions to nail a 400 km/h run.0 -

I agree, but of course, with exemption to most German Autobahn 'racers'.
Anyway, talking about the Aero, I don't think it would qualify as a real Veyron killer when it comes to other aspects. It may had beaten the speed record, but the Veyron didn't sacrifice luxury just to get hold of the world title. For me, the exterior and interior design of the Veyron is better than the Aero's.
I still prefer the Bugatti Veyron against the SSC Ultimate Aero. Bat kulang pa rin ba ang 407.33 km/h at mas sosy na upholstery ni taba?0 -
Besides, you can't just get into a Veyron or SSC and expect to run to 400 km/h without preparation.
Bugatti's policy is to bring you to one of their oval test tracks, and replace the Michelin PAX System tires with brand-new ones to make sure they won't blow out at such high speeds. (The Veyron's stock tires are capable of that, yes, but who knows what kind of scuffs and damage they've had in "everyday" use?)
You also need a second key to unlock the Veyron's "high speed mode" --- it alters its aerodynamics to run as little wing as possible, then lowers the suspension much like F1 cars do for Italy's Monza race circuit.
All that hassle to win a pissing contest...the cost of the PAX System tires alone is very prohibitive. Then again, if you've got a Veyron you probably own a private oilfield and money is no object to you.0
