Hi All,

Anyone here knows how much an operation for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm costs?

My dad has one, measuring 7 cm, and the doctor recommends surgery.

I have no idea how much such an operation costs, but I suggest you find an experienced thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon.

quite expensive. this depends on the complexity of the procedure. I would put it to around 150k for a surgery without complications and as high as 300k for a difficult case.

7cm is quite big... it needs urgent attention. It would cost more if it ruptures. Take my word for it. I've seen a lot of ruptured cases. The cost escalates during emergency procedures as much as 100 fold.
