ok na ung P200, ust fine arts ako, classmate ko 2.5k a week. mahal ang gamit e, pero kainan wise maraming mura sorrounding the 4 schools

naks! galing ng 100 na daily allowance. hehe.. ako din 98 pesos. kasama na lunch tsaka commute through mrt & lrt papuntang taft. hehe.. nasa pagtitipid at diskarte lang yan!

I graduated a year ago. I started out with 150 per day, but by the time I graduated, I was already getting 300 a day. I never asked for allowance increases but my mom just kept on raising the daily amount. I told her not to but she always insisted that I needed more so I accepted the money anyway.

As for the expenses, I probably spent around 50-75 per day on food. Having handouts photocopied cost me somewhere around 1500-2000 per semester so that amounted to maybe 20-26.66 pesos per school day. I usually went out on weekends so I ended up shelling out 200-500 per weekend on movies, dinners, etc. I never had to pay for gas because part of the deal of having a car was to run errands, so my parents thought I shouldn't have to pay for gas since most of the gas expenditures were for the favors that I did for them. The rest, which was usually at least half of my allowance, I saved.

I'm from ADMU, I get 7,500 pesos every two weeks but that already includes everything (clothes, food, transpo, gimmick, weekend spending, etc.). Anything left -- IF any -- goes into my savings. Most of the time, nothing is left.

Nope, I don't have any scholarships although I badly need one. The office of admission and aid is one of the more inept departments Ateneo has.

hmm... I'm from UP and my allowance is about 200 pesos per day.. kasama na diyan yung transportation ko, medyo malayo kasi house namin from UP.. :(

wow, buti pa kayo. now i'm thinking pano if lumaki na anak ko... 1998 allowance ko was 150 pesos per day kasama na gas ng kotse. ngayon work ako 150 pesos per day kasama na gas at gimik hahaha.

hehe.. pero kidding aside, that's really the usual amount i spend in a typical school day. except of course kung may reqs na kelangan isubmit or readings na kelangan iphotocopy. the rest of my allowance, savings ko na. hehe..
