Hi everyone,

I just want to know who are working or used to work in pldt? Any good or bad comments working with them? What was the working environment like and their benefits?

    the benefits are great! 15th month pay, mid year bonus, longevity bonus, cash conversion of unused sick leaves, up to 30 days VL depending on length of service, hospitalization (including dependents), credit coop..

    so the benefits are ok, that's great! what about the environment? I might be working with them soon, if the opportunity is good, that's why I wanted to know a little bit of what I will be expecting.

    depends which department you will be assigned. Any office located in either MGO/RCB is I think the best - right beside the malls, close to MRT, along the route of most transpo..

    kasi freeze hiring daw sila dati pa since 2002 ata. May nakilala akong 5 years na rin doon as programmer, contractual rin sila other term na tawag dun eh consultant.

    any idea on how much is the salary ng IT sa pldt?
    and saan ang location ng mga IT professionals nila?

    my parents worked there. ok dun. super duper laki ng sweldo, especially if matagal ka na sa kanila. tapos minsan daw umaabot ng 19th month pay... na minsan millions na yung bonuses!

    benefits? medical (sa makati med pa nga kami eh), car, gas, cell phone + load (smart), laptops, free landline, free internet (PLDT pero hindi dsl), christmas bonuses, yearly bonuses? basta super duper dami! every 5 yrs ata may makukuha kang gift checks (trip to hongkong, plasma tv, ipods) 'pag christmas pa may mga pa-raffles tapos yung prizes dvds, rice cooker, electric fan... so on so forth.

    ok diyan! mahirap makapasok kaya swertihan din. normally hinahanap nila IT and eng people eh. :)

    the people? ok din! of course there would always be the "bad" people eh... lahat naman ng companies diversified ang employees. pero overall the employees are nice. hindi naman magtatagal parents ko dun for like 30yrs if hindi ok mga tao db?

    good luck, guys! as for me, hahaha i prefer a specific company. :))

    hahahaha...nasayang pagkakataon ko dito..i have 2 classmates na new cpa na natanggap dito, pinipilit nila na i-try ko daw mag-apply...pero ayoko....gusto ko kasi sa audit muna para medyo may thrill medyo routinary kasi ang job dito..sa main branch sila na-assign........parang treasury or payroll ata..3 weeks ang inabot bago natanggap mga friends ko...15000 entry level salary

    ^ ay talaga. ang galing naman.yun bang mga friends mo ay mga fresh grad and passers din? I mean wala pa din sila working experience? san po sila nagpass ng resume? nagupload na kasi ako sa site nila and nagpass sa email add. wala parin tawag. 15k? ok na din.

    fresh blood tol...as in no working experience "hilaw na hilaw", alang kamag-anak sa loob, october 09 passer sila....

    swertehan lang talaga sa pagpasok...

    advice ko, mag-walk in ka na lang sa main branch para mabilis ang process:bop:

    @Lebrobix - Open pa po ba ang application for Network Engineer? alam ko kasi tapos na yung hiring nila, kasi medyo matagal na yon. tapos na ata recruitment.
