It's probably time that you see a dermatologist. It's not possible to diagnose what you have without proper physical examination. It might not even be a fungal infection, but a form of dermatitis.

    AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yum:
  • why are you people laughn?! seryoso yan! nagkaganyan din akoh!

lagyan mo ng bote na may mainit na tubig!

    tangal ang kati !
  • bat nga naman kayo tumatawa  no just kiddin. seriously parang jockitch yata ang tawag diyan eh. shempre a doc has to see it mahirap idiagnose ang mga skin problems unless they are seen by a qualified professional. anyway, sabi mo nagtutubig.
baka naman some form of eczema na yan which requires steroids.
kase yung kati sa singit is often caused by a fungus called tinea cruris, the same fungus that causes athlete's foot and ringworm or buni. jock itch is caused by moisture and heat confined by tight underwear which causes the fungus to multiply and spread over the genital area. kaya siguro pati ***** mo nangangati.
pero jockitch lesions are usually red, semi-circular and scaly. dito sa tate there are some powders and creams containing miconazole, clotrimazole or tolnaflate which can be bought over the counter. it is advisable to continue to use these products for two weeks after the disappearance of symptoms, for a total of 4 weeks. if the rash does not clear up after the initial 2 weeks of continued use, see your doctor. it might be a different bug...
  • LACTACYD!!! oks yan!!!!!
  • i dunno what its really called pero i read sa fhm na it happens only to males... help naman.....
  • Jock itch is a fungal infection (medical term: tinea cruris) almost always found in males, although women may very occassionally get this. The fungus grows in dark, damp areas, that's why it's common in people who are obese, or those who perspire heavily. Warm weather and poor hygiene (esp. after athletic activities) don't help much, either. The symptoms are itchiness and skin flaking on the groin, inner thighs, pubic or anal areas, but not the penis nor the *****. Good hygiene, putting powder after bathing especially if you're prone to sweating, avoiding synthetic clothing which do not allow your skin to breathe, and keeping dry will help prevent this. If you have jock itch, there are a lot of over-the-counter antifungals like Daktarin, Canesten, Tinactin which you apply 2x a day to treat tinea infection.
  • galing talaga ni doc Ira...
  • Question: how to remove the discoloration of the skin caused by a jock itch ( Had-had)

    thanks alot!

You see it on the pubic area and the surface of the genitals (male).

It becomes itchy, you try to scratch it and after sometime of scratching it becomes moist and become mahapdi and you can see small wounds around that when you touch them it's painful.

You let them be and when they dry up and heal, it becomes scaly and itchy and they are like peeling of the skin.

Help what's this? Any recommended medicine for this?
  • its pretty hard to comment on what it really is. even a derma would have a difficult time without seeing the actual lesions. to treat the condition however you need to know the offending agent which could be bacteria, fungus, allergic, or a dermatologic problem (e.g. contact dermatitis)
  • had had!?
  • can it be a sign of yeast infection among guys?
  • Ice Burn
    Ice Burn Conflicting Karma
kung sa singit yan baka garter burns yan...
  • hindi nga daw sa singit eh..

sa may "where the pubic area and the surface of the genitals meet" daw??

tingin ko it's a yeast infection.. my hubby used to have one..

  • It sounds like jock itch (Tinea cruris), a form of skin fungal infection. You can try applying Lamisil cream to the affected area twice daily for 1 week.
  • just want to ask kung whats the fastest way to remove this? ive got a nasty white spot on my face,
ive seen some creams in commercials but pwede ko ba to ilagay kahit naglalagay ako ng sunblock sa face? hindi ba parang patong patong na un sa face ko?

Tinea cruris is jock itch. You probably mean tinea versicolor.

Try Ketoconazole tablets, 200 mg/tab, take 2 tablets as a single dose only, no more. Then, 2 hours after you take the tablet, do something to induce sweating (e.g. exercise, etc.) so that the medication will be able to penetrate your skin well. This should take care of the problem. You can already stop the OTC creams after this if you're using those. Remember though--even if you're cured, the rash may persist for several months before the skin becomes the same color as the surrounding normal area again. So if you've been using the creams for weeks and the growth, itching, and scaling have stopped, you may already be overtreating. Applying Selsun Blue shampoo once a week on the affected skin area and keeping it for 10 minutes before rinsing can also help prevent recurrence. Since tinea versicolor tends to recur, treat ASAP with Canesten cream if you see a light-colored spot developing in the future.

While it's okay to put sunblock on your face, you should avoid too much heat or sweating. The condition gets worse with heat and moisture.
