it would be recommended to change oil every 4 to 5 years especially if there is a leak
if you are a girl, you can have it changed at rapide

if you're gonna ask me, im not gonna bring my car to rapide there are more shops na better than rapide like speedyfix.
just my 2 cent0 -
do they charge less or is the service better? I don't see any branch of speedyfix near my area0

your friendly neighborhood gas station can do this. wag 4 to 5 years sobrang tagal, lalo na kapag dinadaan mo sa baha.0

If you do a search on this forum and even on other sites like tsikot.com, you'll see that Rapide isnt exactly well loved due to their excessive prices and replace-everything-kahit-okay-pa mentality (mas mahal pa sa CASA!). A shop like Servitek is also okay, even your local talyer or a good sized gas station can do the job. Just list out shops convenient to your location (aside from Rapide :P).
Yup, in our driving conditions, it's better to change a little more regularly... the same goes with ATF (this i drain and change every 20,000kms).0 -

Yes. You can bring your own oil and even your own filters in the case of change engine oil. They'll just charge you for the labor. At least thats what the Petron Commonwealth station I go to does.0 -

Most allow but there are some that don't... usually the Shell stations. It's cheaper to buy your oils and stuff from an auto supply as the gas stations have higher markups on their oils and stuff.0 -
mr kelunji its a gear and differential oil, not for the engine.
i already bought a mobil highgrade transmission oil for 1 gallon.i looking nalang for a mechanic that could fill it.0 -

Pwede nga. Ginamit ko lang na example na pwede rin sarili mong oil (whether engine or gear) and parts like engine oil filters. You just pay for labor. Last December when I brought my ride for an oil change, first thing they asked is if I already have oil and replacement parts. Trouble with gear oil is the filling hole is hard to reach so you need to lift the vehicle to access it.0 -

Going to Rapide for vehicle service is probably one of the worst things a person can do short of just setting the car on fire.
Saka pansin niyo yung mga dumadaan sa tapat ng Rapide pinagtatawanan yung mga clients sa loob kasi alam nila that the clients are getting screwed big time.0 -

On another note, I also find it 'astig' if you can do it yourself being the girl you can be.
