Help in buying converted vans (right to left hand drive)

ok ba 'to? what are the advantages and disadvantages? anyone who's bought one of these?

Personally i wouldnt buy a converted van/vehicle as there are so many factors that affect reliability and safety... plus at the end you'll have a hard time selling and getting a good resale value on these. The most i'd consider of those surplus vans would most likely be the Korean Hyundai H100's or Kia Besta as these are already LHD; a second hand local L300 or 90's Hiace/Urvan could also be purchased at the same price as those converted vans.

There are people who would say they have good experience with such but i'd say it's a hit-or-miss thing and usually they do get the car running after much trial and error on repairs (through exprerience).
