Help - on Avis Car rental accident policy

hey guys... i'm here in Texas right now for a 3 month -training.
i rented a car (my first time) from Avis. then kagabi lang, we went to a bar, medyo masikip ang parking, so nung pinapasok ko ang car in between two compact cars... natamaan yung isang car, wala namang scratch, pero yung passenger door ko, lumubog.
hindi ko na mababa yung salamin.

binasa ko ang policy, pero di ko maintindihan masyado e.

covered ba yung ng insurance? magkano kaya ang ibabayad ko dun? hindi pa ako tumatawag sa Avis. iniisip ko pa ang saabihin ko..

It would depend on the type of insurance that you got at the start of rental. Obviously, more protection means higher premium to be added to the rental cost.

normally mataas ang insurance sa rental car and don't worry kahit basagbasag pa yang sasakyan basta binayaran mo insurance wala ka ng problema. Pag tinanong ka sabihin mo na lang nakita mo na lang na ganun paglabas mo.

I hope you got the collision damage waiver policy when you rented the car. The CDW will cover the accident. If you have a foreign drivers ID, most likely they will ask you to take this, but you can always decline.

Bring the car back to the rental center and report that the car got dinged in the parking lot when you parked it. Just say you found out when you returned to the car after shopping or eating nearby.

Ask them to replace the rental car, so that when you return it on its due date you will have encounter no further delays.

okay pala talaga dito sa tate ang mga car insurance policy.
Corporate rate daw yung ni-rent ko, so covered ng insurance. kahit pa wasak wasak daw ang auto.
walang tanong tanong, i just filled out an accident form tapos pinalitan na yung car.

wheew, sobrang kaba ko. akala ko magbabayad ako ng daan daang dolyares.
