XD How is this relevant to nonUP students/grads?

Maybe we can move this to the Campus Chat section.

Please think hard and think well. UP is everybody's business -- NATIONAL univiersity. kaya nga UP eh, hindi UST lang o Ateneo lang. everyone is so keen and excited to know what's going on at the country's foremost university. isip isip naman dyan...

    and so?

how can we further our discussion with this kind of thread? Aside from saying "congrats...ang galing..." what else could we say?

one of those in the list, whom I know, is a merit scholar, star scholar and an oblation scholar. :) *okay*

Is it true that 60% of the oblation scholars failed the USTET?

    ^^ ano bang Pinagsasabi mo?!

anyway, congrats nalang sa mga so called "oblation scholars"

    Yun lang hehe

 sino tong the one na to? koopal eh
  • rocky_earocky_ea Member PExer

no one in the list even bothered to consider that school... este snatcher's headquarters.

Well based on the posts here, everyone seems to be so envious of UST. Anyways, congratulations to them for being the "best" and the "brightest". Mabuhay ang iskolar ng bayan. :)

oh mr. the_1, may nakuha ka na bang matinong discussion dito?

while i agree on your 2nd to the last sarcastic statement (on briefly assuming that they are the best and the brightest), i don't think that "everyone" seems to be envious of UST. you started it, and i don't think that a well-rounded product of the Thomasian education will speak the way you did (re: saying that 60% of the oblation scholars failed the USTET).

can't believe that you will speak that way. i don't think that we should stereotype the school. we should call a spade a spade.

Meron ako brod na Oblation Scholar. It took him 7 years to finish college and after 3 programs. Original course nya BAA, tapos nagtapos ng isang obscure engg degree. (Di ko na sabhin ung course.Hehe) Pero no regrets daw kasi he had a life. We partied hard and had a ball back in college! Hehe

Gee whiz. Pop quiz. If UP is indeed everybody's business, why's there a seperate subsection here just for UP discussions?

    It's a bird. It's a plane. ZOOOOM. It's a FLASH OF THE OBVIOUS!

Nobody outside your campus cares about your list of achievers, no matter what your school is. Seriously. Go back to your books and maybe you can learn a sensible thing or two.

Last post in topic. This thread is pointless.
