    Haven't done it personally but I usually stick around and observe as my ride gets fixed. Firstly you obviously have to get the tire off. And you need to have sturdy jack stands (?) or one slip and those disks will be banged pretty badly. You have to loosen one or 2 lugs to flip the caliper off the disk, the pads are only held on by small clips, just unlatch it with a screw driver. For the disk or rotor, there are sturdy lug nuts that attach the disk to the axle (?), could be 4 or more depending on the car. You have to remove those to get it off. Sorry can't remember the terms but essentially thats what I remember of how its done.
