Hi pexers, saan maganda mag pa change ng Automatic Tranny Fluid?(97 lancer glxi). and how much?salamat mga brad.

Most decent service shops can do the job... what matters is the accessibility to your place.

I would suggest Autotechnika in the Fort or in Fairview as they have a Transtech ATF "dialysis" machine which can suck out all the old ATF and put in fresh ATF. Typically, most ATF change jobs just drain the one in the transmissions, around half of the fluid still gets left inside the torque converter (unless the shop takes it down as well but this takes more time), the Transtech removes also the ATF from the entire system (flushing the whole system). I once brought a car which did not have a ATF change since it was brand new as the old owner neglected it (9 years!... bad) and it took us over 20L of ATF to clean the entire A/T system. It cost almost 5K (ATF included) but it's worth it (cheaper than changing the tranny if something goes bad right?).
