All About GAS STATIONS

Any gas stations to avoid? Or gas stations that have superb service? Please post your experiences and insights here.

Let me start. I just hope that some of these gas stations would try to improve their comfort rooms. Yung iba kse sobrang dumi kaya nakakawalang gana din magpa-gas sa kanila.

For me, the rule of the thumb is to just gas up at stations you're familiar with, cleans-up their premises regularly (as this can give some inkling on how the management is) and is along your regular route... and you know hindi binabaha. I don't go out of my way to another station because it's a few centavos cheaper (i just stick regularly to two particular Petron Stations as much as possible).
  • i read in one forum to avoid gas stations that flood during heavy rains. most likely, water is seeping into their tanks. i dont know how true this is, but for me it doesnt hurt to avoid them.

I think these fuel companies would have standard procedures in addressing these concerns. Hindi naman siguro nila hahayaan na mapasukan ng H2O ung mga tanks.

    I think they dont.

After a strong downpour once, I visited my non casa shop because I suspected water in my gas tank. My mechanic cannot accomodate me because they were "flooded" with jobs of the same nature.
  • ^^ better to be safe than sorry. pagas ka sa mga "branded" gas stations located on higher ground! :D
