Ticketing Offices or Travel Agencies?

Is there a big price difference ba pagkumuha ako ng tickets sa mga traveling agencies kaysa straight na sa airline's ticketing offices? (traveling outside the Philippines ha) or parihas lang sila?

Hindi naman masyado malaki ang difference. What I usually do is to ask for a quote from the agency and compare that with the price quoted by the airline's ticketing office. I purchase whichever is lower.

    Oops, sorry for this.
  • as far as i know mas mahal sa ticketing office ng airline mostly gross rates ibinibigay nila. sa travel agents meron kang option lalo kapag IATA accredited sila.

^That depends on the airline so it would be safe to get a quote from both.

minsan may web offers yung ibang airlines, so ok din if you try checking yung online rates before going to a ticketing office or travel agency. usually din may surcharge pag travel agency.

Yep! Kaya minsan mas mura pa sa airline. If you want to use your credit card, lagi may surcharge ang travel agencies, as much as 7%. Yan daw kasi ang sinisingil ng banks sa kanila if they process transactions using cards. Meron pa commission yung travel agent mismo kaya padded ang price ng ticket. Kaya ako I always purchase my tickets online unless a travel agent can offer an insanely low price to me.
