its fairly simple. before going to the shop/casa, check the condition of your oil. then after, check if the oil is clear. some casas let you see your car while being serviced.0 -
I have it done at Shell Congressional (near Munoz) or at my friend's Auto Supply in Kamias.
How do I now they did it? I should because I never leave the vehicle the whole time it is being serviced.
I don't ask for the old oil, they sell it for recycling. And madali lang naman kumuha ng used oil from their used oil drum if they wanted to fake you.0 -
^ ano ba yung sinansabi nila na oil analysis? they'll examine the used oil from your engine and from there they can tell you how well your engine is performing. is this accurate? how is it done? meron na ba dito sa pinas? saan dito meron? magkano damage magpa oil analysis?0

Some shops never change your oil. They just wipe down the oil filter w/ a rag. I don't trust those Jiffy Lube/Grease Monkey stores out there. I change my own oil. 4 qts. of oil + oil filter is less than $10 at Wal-Mart. Jiffy Lube and Grease Monkey costs at least $30 + bull&*^t "environmental fee."0
