In addition, the said activity is considered as a special requirement by the Dean. Students who will fail to attend the training will have an INC grade.
This is to inform you that the scheduled Leadership and Service training Workshop for Youth Leaders scheduled on August 26-28, 2006 for our political science majors will be re-scheduled to August 25-27, 2006. The change of schedule was due to the conflicting schedule with the Colegio of Liberal Arts and Sciences Week on August 28-31, 2006. The venue of the training workshop will remain the same (i.e Tahanan ng Ama Retreat House, Bo. Maria Tuntungin, Los Ba?os, Laguna).
We are sorry for the sudden change in schedule. We hope that you bear with us in our quest for academic excellence and promotion of youth leadership.

Arriba Letran!!!
FYI, most Letran Polsci graduates from 1995 onwards pursued law in UP Law, Ateneo Law, UST Law and San Beda Law (yung iba mga sikat nga eh)
Ako naman, speaking from experience(for those polsci graduates who want to pursue law), pag graduate niyo, malalaman niyo na walang kwenta yung polsci course (tinetrain ka pa naman maging isang diplomat sa curriculum ng Letran Polsci since I was enrolled in the old curriculum when I was in the 1st year years ago). Kung alam ko lang, dapat nag English Major na lang ako or Legal Management, since that's the best pre-law course, ok din ang accounting para CPA lawyer ka when you get your LLB or juris doctor.
At most important of all, IT DOESN'T MATTER kung saan kayo graduate pag tapak niyo sa law school, don't get intimidated kung mga classmates niyo galing UP, ateneo, dlsu, ust, etc or kung mga laude, pare parehas lang kayo. Usually sila pa nga yung unang nakikickout or nagdradrop, it all boils down to "passion"
At wag kayo magpapadala sa mga bad vices diyan sa college life sa Letran di ko na ienumerate sila, alam niyo na yun. Studies first before anything else! And your grades matter, lalo na if you'll pursue law, as much as possible don't get a single failing grade, umiwas sa mga line of 7 at strive for line of 9s! Either perfect ka sa exam or bagsak!
Musta si Ma`am Clare? The best yung recommendation letter na ginawa niya sa akin back then when I took the ateneo law entrance exams hehe.
Goodluck to those law aspirants! (must kaya yung best thesis ko sa library, binuklat niyo na kaya?)
