Looking for hygienist

My officemate is experiencing hygiene problem which we (officemates) know that might be some cause we dont understand. Our officemate is sure clean, scrubbing at bath, putting on roll-on, but there's this stingy smell we kept on noticing that we dont understand the smell. Can you recommend nay hygienist to help her solve her "hygiene" problem?

Excessive sweating? Body Odor? Why not bring your friend to a Dermatologist?

Hello. I'm an orthodontist (a dentist). Perhaps it would be better if you would ask some of the physicians here at Pex for recommendations on dermatologists. Perhaps they would recommend other specialists, please follow their advise.

In the world of dentistry, the term "hygienist" refers to an assistant to a dentist whose main job is to clean teeth by oral prophylaxis. I don't think there's such a thing as a medical hygienist.

same thing we experienced with our classmate last year.. mukha naman naliligo sya.. its just this sour smell that we feel has stuck to her skin.. we felt really bad for her but what can we do?..

Try advising your friend to consult a physician, an internist (specialist in Internal Medicine), as much as possible. There could be more than 2 dozen causes of body odor which are medical in nature.

Some conditions causing body odor despite adequate hygiene:
Gastrointestinal disorders
Diabetes
Diabetic ketoacidosis
Urinary tract infection
Athlete's foot - causes foot odor.
Scurvy
Typhoid fever
Fish odor syndrome - a very rare metabolic disease

we also noticed this dark build up of dirt-like patches on her skin.. could that be part of where the odor is coming from?
