hi! mga mommies.. teka, i hope im welcome here.. wla bang thread for daddy? ill post my question anyway...

i am an expectant father.. and i am very excited about it.. my wife is only in her early stage of second trimester..ask ko lang po kung pwede na kmi mamili ng gamit ni baby.. or is it too early???

First off, congratulations! ingatan mo wife mo, and arm yourself with a lot of patience... the first trimester can be very trying. you'll have her laughing one second, crying the next. the mood swings we cant explain, but they happen, promise.

yung sa gamit naman ni baby...in my opinion, its too early. the fifth to sixth month is more like it. of course, its never too early to plan what you need to welcome your bundle of joy. what dont you two ask, research and look around at the stuff you might need (list, list!). at least you'll have it rady when you need to buy stuff.

thnks sweetwahm. u bet!.. mood swings are all over this past few months.. but, i guess shes over with that stage now for shes in her first week of her second trimester...maybe, it's too early pa nga.. i dont even know kung boy or girl si baby.. its just dat were both excited na magasawa.. hehe.. better yet, we have to make a listings first.. hehe.. thnks ulit maam...

oops, i misread.. 2nd tri na pala. that's an easy period, you'll find her back to her old self... well up until the 3rd tri anyway.

IMHO, its too early to buy stuff for the baby. mas maganda ata malaman nyo muna ang gender.. at saka malay mo, may magpa baby shower pa sa inyo. wait nyo nalang para d madoble ang mga things ni baby. Im on my 33rd week. (8mos.+), now pa lang kami namili talaga ng asawa ko

^^ 34 wks na ako tomorrow pero wala pa kaming nabibili ni isa... buti na lang ang mga friends ko binilhan kami ng carseat at ilang clothes... so yun pa lang ang gamit namin... hinihintay pa namin hand-me-down from my in-laws, sa friday pa darating... so kung anuman ang wala, yun na lang ang bibilhin namin this weekend...

we still don't know the baby's gender... and we won't know until lumabas ang baby... bawal kasi dito...

It's really exciting to prepare for the coming of our little bundle of joy. I suggest you start buying baby's essential after your wife's ultrasound on her 6th-7th month, para pag nalaman niyo na your baby's gender it's easier for you to choose what color & designs ng gamit niya. If you & your wife naman wants to surprise yourselves not to know your baby's gender, you can opt to buy white or yellow color.

Kami kse inuna namin bilhin yung mga feeding bottles. I also suggest update yourself ng mga baby sale sa department store, kase you'll buy talaga in bulk so makakamura ka.

too early pa nga, wait for the ultrasound or at least after the baby shower kse madaming mga gifts, hand me downs baka nga wala na kyo klangan bilhin or at least konti na lng. a baby doesn't need a lot of things, i learned that much later na. mahaba yung list na nanjan pero you won't need everything at once. when you're excited kse you tend to over buy kaya later mamroblema ka what to do with the extras at mga things na mdaling na outgrow. haay ang bilis lumaki ng mga babies at mahal pa nman mga clothes nila. unless of course you want to have lotsa kids pa din later on.
