Nahulog si baby sa kama! [Merged]

My 7-month old baby fell this early morning sa kama and medyo mataas taas din yun. Nakita ko yung bagsak nya and medyo back ng ear yung una tumama. Umiyak lang sya for less than a minute, mabilis lang. Napaiyak na rin ako sa sobrang takot and I don't know kung ano yung magiging effect ba sa kanya ng pagbagsak nya sa paglaki but i'm praying tlaga na wala at lumaki pa rin syang healthy. Nakatulog din sya kaagad, di kasi sya makatulog ng maayos kasi nilalagnat pa sya cguro kasi magkakangipin daw kaya sobrang worried talaga ako. Hay...

Has anyone experienced the same situation with your babies?
Thanks!

dont worry ang baby ko nahulog sa kama twice when he was about 4 or 5 mos..i dont really recall the exact mo..but i know he was under 6 mo-old..he is now 15 mo-old, 25 pounds, very healthy, energetic toddler.Pero just to make sure..bring him to his pediatrician para i check sya..and for you too, para hindi ka isip ng isip:) Talaga ang crib recommended yan...mas safe talaga sya kesa sa kama0

my baby also fell off our bed when she was 8 months old..mataas pa man din bed namin, buti na lang carpeted yung room namin kaya hindi hindi nabukulan..i called her pedia right away and she said na-obserbahan ko muna sya..WAG NA WAG PATUTULUGIN agad ang baby pag nahulog kasi hindi mo malalalman kung nagkaroon ba ng masamang epekto yung pagkahulog..mas ok kung umiyak yung baby immediately pagkahulog..watch out for vomiting or loss of consciousness, if this happens, isugod agad sa ospital ang baby.
don't worry, babies are not as fragile as we think they are. be careful na lang next time.0 -
isanay mo na ang sanggol sa crib nya... where you can
adjust the height of the crib from the floor. a baby isn't
recommended to sleep on the same bed with the parents.

my baby fell off the bed around 6 months, too. he just rolled off, and my, how babies can roll. anyway, i comforted him kasi iyak ng iyak (syempre
) and gave him some water to drink. and i dont know where i get this... but whenever my son (he's 14 months old now) goes on and bumps his head (sometimes very unavoidable, sigh), I make sure he doesnt fall asleep for at least an hour. kahit sleepy na sya, di ko pinapatulog. ewan ko ba, i have this inner fear na baka di sya gumising. kaya i wait an hour to see if he's ok.

Naku sis! That's normal, my kid fell off the bed a lot of times before she turned one, I think 3-4 times and just last Sunday she fell again but she's already 15 months, ang gulo kasi. First thing you should observe is if she has any bruises that needs to be treated. Second, if she starts vomiting. Actually, if your baby cried that's a good sign already, pag hindi umiyak mas matakot ka0

buti nga kau sa bed lng nahulog baby nyo. my baby fell from our nissan patrol! she was around 6 or 7mos that time & just learned to turn/roll over. i didn't expect her to turn nor fall from the baby carrier (kc malalim un db) w/c also serves as her car seat. unfortunately i left the car door open to call my husband (at same time get someth frm the trunk, where my husband was putting our shopping bags) to attach the seat belt around the carrier. i was gone less than a minute when i heard a loud cry (as if she was screaming). i didn't even think it could be her coz i found it unbelievable that she could fall frm the carrier at that age, just the same i rushed to chk on her & found her on the ground!
if i had a heart attack bka inatake na 'ko that time. i was thinking the worst that could possibly happen to her. i was full of remorse for leaving her unattended even for just a matter of seconds!
so anyway, we rushed to the ER! we had her x-rayed & everything. thank God she was unharmed except for a small bump! i was so relieved & yet i can't believe nothing terrible resulted frm that fall. (i know somebody kc whose baby fell frm a changing table & broke someth).
my girl is now 2 1/2y/o. and she's a healthy, makulit & happy child!0 -
Jer Z: wala bang straps yung baby carrier? Here in the US it's a must to strap a baby while in the car: both as a precaution from rolling over and as a seatbelt for them should a vehicular accident occur.
Back to the topic, My baby fell from our bed like 6 times in his lifetime. Thank God our floor was carpeted. Now he's a very smart, healthy and energetic 2.5-year-old. I never put him to sleep right after a fall though, I observe for any sign of restlessness or vomiting. That's what the pedia also said.0 -

my 6 months old baby fell out from our bed, he cried but after a while he seems normal naman after that accident. I monitor him the next 24 hrs and it look all normal sa mga usual nyang activity. Should i still be concern?0
-
^For your peace of mind, please bring him to his pediatrician and have him examined.0
-
You can bring him to the pedia if you're still concerned but if he acts normal and there's no swelling, bruising, fever, etc. I would guess he's fine. Can you text or call your pedia and ask what things you should watch out for? Ang alam ko lang, huwag patulugin right after the fall.0
