Kung magaabroad, ano ba mga dapat gawin?

hi! im a newbie here, but I had been reading posts here for sometime now. :D Just want to ask, since almost everyone wants to go abroad now, and im planning to go too (baba ng sahod dito huhhhh :hmm: ) ano-ano ba ung mga dapat ihanda? aside sa passport at resume? saka kung matutuloy na e ano ba ung mga dadalhin? (bawal ba sa airport ung mga shave, nailcutter,saka... ano nga ba ung pambunot ng balahibo nakalimutan ko hehehe  ,etc?)

*okay*

  • hi! juje....welcome to pex! ur on the right place here....enjoy mo talaga!!!

tanong lang po? san mo ba balak mag abroad? dapat mentally handa ka...lakas loob at prayers....tyaga din...sipag...ready to take risk at anytime at any place para sakin yun po...kung may family ka naman eh u need not forget about ur responsibilities kasi what i see maraming family nasisira pag nag abroad na...yun ang nakikita ko maraming tukso kahit saang lugar....kung single ka, better at walang bf or gf ...hirap din...

im assisting visit visa to Dubai...kaya tanong ko sayo where u wanna go ba?

    regards,
    gp:)
  • thanks sa reply ms.pampanga! :D

*okay*

ok lang basta kasama sa check-in luggage
  • hi girl_pampanga! ask ko lang if I'm gonna apply for a passport, visa, etc, would it be a problem yung birth certificate ko? kasi yung name ko may maria, as in ganon ang spelling pero all my life ang ginamit ko ay ma. eh magkaiba pala yon... meron kabang kakilala na ganon ang naencounter?
  • lizziebare... whatever's written on your birth certificate, sorry to say that it will reflect the same way sa passport mo.

may error din yung birth certificate ko, at kahit na may affidavit ako na ibinigay sa passport office natin sa pinas, yung nakasulat pa rin sa certificate ang isinulat nila.
  • hi! juje,

ah ok...so ur bf is in qatar..may kilala ako dun ah...dong dizon..doha di ba? engr sya dun...

may iba they pass through agency...recruitment agency ba ang sinasabi mo? or yung agency na nagbibigay ng visit visa...minsan kasi mahirap din sa agency, puti na ang uwak bago ka maka alis at kadalasan pa, uubusin money then tagal grabe...pero up to u din yun...

ano ba field mo? ...sa visit,,,,2 types yun...1 is 2months lang tapos 2 u can extend up to 90 days...yun ang ino-offer ko medyo may taas ang price compared sa 2 months lang & most importantly company visa sya...complete with all supporting documents sya...

yung direct / or through agency....depends sa company kung may pabahay...sometimes all inclusive na sa salary...pero u shouldnt convert agad sa peso coz u need to consider pa yung mga expenses mo...

Sa Dubai, yeah it is required pero kung sa free zone ka work di na kailangan but mas maganda kung naka-authenticate sila....this is my advise sa mga clients ko ,...i wont accept payment not unless their papers are authenticated kung di magsasayang ka ng oras dito...diploma at TOR ang dapat....

    regards, Ces

  • hi ms. pampanga! and to others!

yup my bf is in doha, he's an engineer too. ang sabi nia sa kin daan na lang daw ako sa recruitment agency para mas madali......eh 2 months lang kasi nakaalis na siya. swerte lang kaya un? sa agency ba talaga aabutin pa ng pagputi ng uwak bago makaalis? nyaaayyy :hmm: kung tourist visa naman kukunin ko problema ko naman kung san ako titira while hanap ng work, hindi naman ako pede makitira sa kanya.

Im a management accountant nga pala, currently finishing my MBA, 3 months to go na lang ako kaya nagiisip na ako kung san ako lilipat :bop:

  • my sis is in dubai.
from what i remember she had to authenticate all documents in malacanang.. those are her transcripts, brith cert, and diploma...
she was helped by a friend who was there already with getting visitor's visa to get there..

on her first attempt immigration was a pain in the a**, they were extorting her for 100USD but all her requirements are with her naman.. they would ask stupid questions na why are you going there? malamang tourist ka diba (touris visa nga e!!!)? and they shouldn't give a rats a** in the first place. tapos they would also ask for her company ID.. she did not give in to giving any money so she re-sked her flight to the following week.. buti nalang the immigration personnel who attented to her this time didnt attempt to extort her...

so kasama na yan.. be ready to defend yourself when facing immigration... if they ask u stupid questions, reply with a sarcastic answers, raise your voice also cause they dont like being in a scene. if youre going there using a visit visa u can tell them you're going there as a wedding guest to your friend's wedding.. some of them would really be stupid enough to ask for the invitation or a copy of it.. but u can always say u dont have it and that "IS THAT suppose to be a requirement?!"

    ano kailangan...?
    -mega-lakas ng loob
-stabilize your faith, kasi may tendency that it will be shaken when you're in a place na hindi Katoliko ang primary relig
    -self-confidence
    -pera and thriftiness
-if you're not used to living away from your family, then condition yourself
-if you don't know how to drive, learn

in short, when leaving the country, be prepared, not just with the material and legal things, but more importantly, be prepared emotionally.

    P.S.
