nissan exalta grandeur

ano kaya ang mas sulit bilhin? we will keep the grandeur for a long time. wlang planong ibenta. maganda ba ang nissan? exalta grandeur especially? di ba sya madaling masira?

tulong naman dyan, oh!

  • the reason that exaltas are cheap cuz nissan has a low resale value kasi ma-toyota and honda ang mga tao dito. but in terms of quality i think nissan is up there naman.

we own an 02 exalta grandeur with the vcd system... 115hp stock, disk brakes around, very nice interior... it only bogged down on me once... loose wiring ata. Very reliable naman after that. Easy to drive. im planning on changing the rims cuz those 14" mags dont look too good. Good luck on ur exalta... its a good buy for 450k cuz we got ours brand new for 890k yes P890,000

    ThAHuStLa 40 oz. to freedom
Ingat lang buying those outrageously low-priced cars. Make sure everything is functional, and try to ask for receipts ng mga tune-up etc. to make sure you arent buying a lemon. *okay*
  • we also own a 02 exalta grandeur.. worth it siya sobra... =) very nice interior, etc.
The only 2 downside na napansin ko is parang feel mo yung sahig lalo na yung mga bumps sa road... And I only get 6km per liter of gas(Petron EXTRA)...

We used to have one which we sold recently ('01 Grandeur model).

    PROS:
    - comfy ride
    - lots of extras
    - ok fuel economy (averaged 8km/l in the city)
    - more affordable purchase price (around 30-50K lower then it's similar year model competitors)
    - easy to maintain as it shares serviceable parts with the older Sentra GA16DE engine (same oil filter, same air filter, same spark plugs).
    - smooth engine

    CONS:
    - rear shocks bottom out even with a slight load - what we did was to put in Paraut Gas Shocks (which cost me 1.5K in Banawe 3 years ago) and the problem was cured
    - soft suspension makes body roll more than what i'm used to on a sedan
    - the MAF sensor has to be cleaned with electric contact cleaner every 10,000kms as a MAF (it's the sensor right after the air box, don't touch the "hot wire" inside the sensor with your finger or hand as it's pretty sensitive though). This causes decreased performance, increased fuel consumption, and "tope" when it's dirty. The upside is it's pretty easy to clean once you have the proper allen wrench to remove the sensor from the housing and just spray it inside with the proper electric contact cleaner.
    - the door locks and rear antenna are prone to malfunctioning (this i attribute to the Taiwan market sourced parts for the components as we never experienced any such problems with our Japan market part based Nissans before)

I see a good number of '01 and '02 models up for sale in the Manila Bulletin on weekends. Just take your time to look for a good, low mileage unit. Also, the moonroof equipped model is different from the one with the VCD and leather seats (Grandeur) model.
  • Hi jcrue20,

Have you already bought a nissan? We're selling a nissan exalta grandeur august 2002 model. moss green pearl. leather seats, automatic, really cool aircon and cheaper maintenance (compared to honda and toyota).

Exalta was on my list before while looking for a 2nd hand car (bagong labas pa lang nun 2002). Maganda nman talaga ang Exalta lalo na Black color, pwede pang-matagalan considering it was almost new then. Interiors and exteriors the best...elegante, 1 yr old car palang nun...but somewhat [email protected] 530K but the dealer was willing to bring it down to 495K. Hindi ko kinuha as i opted for a much cheaper 5 yr old Honda Civic. Sayang.

Nanghinayang din ako...Now my Honda is already 10 yrs old while that Exalta would still be looking good at after 5 yrs.

Just surprised after 5 yrs, the price is still 450k !!! Kung matatawaran mo pa, OK na yan. Another thing w Nissan cars is the Aircon, the best!
