i've seen "blue moon" yesterday...and this film deserves to be in the filmfest... ung "B" rating ok n pero mas deserving cia n "A" ksa "mulawin"...dennis trillo was brilliant and i think landslide cia sa best actor...with jennylyn okie ung acting but i think itz still zsazsa whose gonna win as best actress...pero the mere fact n napansin ung lalim ng acting ni jennylyn ng maraming tao even those identified with ABS...itz a big honor n for her...sana wag ikalaki ng ulo nia ung mga papuri n marerecieve nia...and i think maraming best actress nominations ang matatanggap nia come awards season...

share ko lng din...after ng screening sa megamall...nagulat ako...may mga pumalakpak...first time ko mk experience ng ganito sa regular screening ng movie...madalas kz ganito ang eksene pg premiere nights when the lead stars are there...there were even some people n ng comment n itz worth there time and money.

hopefully madagdagan p ung ganitong klase movie...and for the young and inexperienced casts of 'blue moon'...hats off to u guys...and of corz kay direk joel lamangan n rin...ang galing talaga nia mg paarte ng artista.

As of what date itong mga numbers na to?

d niya nilagay, pero nilagay niya ang first day ang blue moon, kaya siguro hanggang jan 1 yung figures na iyan..

not so nice pala ang figures.. mukhang di maganda ang gross receipts ng MMFF this year. Sa dami ng comments about the movies here marami din pala ang nalugi. Tsk tsk.

Wag ka kcing gagawa ng movie na dahil me film fest lang ay kala mo yun ang hahatak sa iu para maka kuha ng viewrs dahil marami manunod, in vics case, he proved himself earlier pa bago mag film fest kaya me hangover pa ang tao sa kanay and considering talagan nakakatawa yung pelikula nya, he made a good back to back movie kaya he reap the fruits of his labor nga.

Do not bash BONG'S effort to uplift the quality of movies here in the Philippines...

when i saw the movie, the theme was there but the fight scenes were very NAKAKaBITIN it means that the movie PERSE is good enough na...the story was really good...execution was the problem...the major factor of its loss in the viewers attention was i think the "low budget" they have used...

a fantasy movie is really expensive...he should have asked for another film company to fund it to make the film more effective...that is what FOREIGN COMPANIES are doing

in case of MULAWIN Regal and GMA films has combined to make the movie better...i was a good attempt

in case of ENTENG KABISOTE Octoarts and other film companies where also present...was a good attempt also...

but for EXODUS the ATTEMPT was really there, ERIK MATTI has done a great job in the camera angles and the concept of representing the ENKANTOS making it more Filipino like...the CG's are great at first but the main factor thats putting it down was the fact na nakakabitin ito...and comes down to the main topic of my peice LOW BUDGET...

IRONICALLY ENTENG KABISOTE did great in the movies even though the cost of it is less than half of MULAWINs cost of production...

In the end it all boils down to a case to case basis...as for EXODUS a part 2 may be too farfetched to happen...

the attempt was there but still the movie goers is still affected by the ultimate problem the world is experiencing POVERTY...i for one have no more money to watch a second movie but i was betting to watch ENTENG KABISOTE and AKO LEGAL WIFE but as what i have mentioned monry constraint is still there...i could have made a better review of exodus if i had watched ENTENG KABISOTE too...

but please do not insult BONG...lets just pray that in the coming days the movies show would at least have profits in the end...

    Dinudumog

    ====================================================

remember "Jose Rizal" ng gma films way back 1998...tapat mo nga yung tanging ina mo
