Nakita nyo na ba yung Suzuki Swift?
Balak kasi namin ng kuya ko na bumili ng kotse and we are seriously considering the small ones picanto, getz and this one suzuki swift. (jazz din sana kaso mahal eh)
wala ako masyadong alam sa kotse, i go for the aesthetics and this suzuki swift looks kinda sleek (for me).
gusto ko yung mga curve. diba parang may hawig sa mini cooper yung curve sa likod.
may nakita na ako sa boni showroom.
meron ba sa inyo na may maraming alam sa kotse na toh, specially the price.
sana cheap *****$ din yun price nya. hehe

alam ko 1.5 sya.. with all the bells and whistles of a honda jazz (safety features and all).. mas mura lang siya ng konti sa honda.. pero correct me if i'm wrong.. more or less 700k din ang price niya..

It's not a bad car---it looks cute as hell. For the price (PhP735K I believe) you get a lot for your money.

Downsides for me:
- marginally less space than a Jazz
- no manual transmission

Actually for its price its quite expensive since you can get a low end civic for that price, am i correct? Or you can get the APV i believe at that price also. Anyway if you're looking at the compact cars, better go with the honda city or toyota vios at least di sila outrageously priced (last time i checked). Compared that the hyundai getz and kia picanto, yes you maybe saving a bit but the space is too compact and small for me. I rather add the price up to upgrade to a city/vios. My two cents

For that price siguro it would be better to get a good 2nd hand sedan. You'll save a lot plus kung may sukli pa pang service mo na lang sa auto yun sa casa bago mo ibyahe.

Mas pricey ang Swift,eh Alto ang kalaban ng Picanto at Getz(wala namang Alto dito!).Ok naman ang Swift.Maganda ang looks at performance,kaya siya pricey ay dahil sa Japan to gawa at hindi sa Thailand(ang Jazz dun made).A must buy!

Kamusta naman ang service ng Suzuki in general?? Is the price of service reasonable?? Kamusta naman ang parts too expensive and how is the supply?

which one do you prefer vios, city, sentra (yung 1.3 ata yun) or rio(mura ba yung rio?)?

Looks nice, remove the Suzuki logos and you could pass it off as a Mini. Like that Peugeot commercial where an Indian deliberately wrecks his Hindustan Ambassador and reworked it to look like a Peugeot 206.

Too pricey though.

Yes they have the Peugot 206 and 103 over here. It's an imports so it's kaina expensive.

Maglalabas ng lower end variants ng Swift next year at baka yung two door ang ilabas sana dito.halos lahat ng Suzuki dealers(except Philhino) ay owned by GM Autoworld dealers at Sunny Motors Group dealers kaya walang problema sa service at parts(unless you like the "fake ones" eh asa ka pa!)

Better yet, set-up a factory here to make these, that would slash off a substantial amount to the price.

Yep. They have dealerships here. Available are 206, 206cc, 307, 307 SW and 807.

The Swift looks good. Heard good reviews about it. However 700k ++ is a lot to pay for a 1.5 liter car (same goes for the VTEC Jazz).

cguro matutulad din to sa toyota echo at nissan verita (or veritas? forgot na.. basta yung mini look-alike ng nissan). ang mahal kasi ng mga introductory price..

I don't think so.Magiging successful yang Swift dito sa pinas cause marami pang variants ang lalabas next year.Iba naman ang situation ng Verita which is too cramped ang pricey at Echo/Echo Verso ay tinangal ng TMPC cause dahil sa slow sales at high import costs.Screw Peugeot,wala nang 206 dito at upmarket ang target nila(another VW/Autostadt).But still i really recommend the Swift cause its looks really cool!
