Since the car just got painted, advice is to just leave it alone and don't wax the car for at least 3 months to wait for the paint to fully cure. On the marks, it may go away, if not, you can have the painter who did your car do a buff job... sabayan mo na rin with any defects that may come out as this normally occurs on newly painted cars withing the first three months.0

After washing, use a Chamois or a synthetic Chamois. I use the latter called The Absorber. If you're in the states, they sell them @ Wal-Mart. If not, I'm pretty sure they sell them @ your local department store.0

Also, wash your cars asap if birds did poop on them.
It was a lesson learned the hard way from a coworker of mine.0 -
With the rains i only have my car washed around once or twice a week... but what i make sure to do is to rinse off the the body and underbody to remove the excess dirt/muck.
Waxing also helps in keeping the car protected during the rainy days. It sucks though, getting your car wet after waxing it but thats the job of the wax.0 -
A question thats been nagging me...should you wax your car more
often during the rany days? I know that too much waxing is bad
for the paint job, so how often is *often*?0 -
Since the topic is car paint.
My car has a nasty paint dent (a long one...) i just want to know where can i get it fix and how much would it cost?0 -

Cleaning for the first three months will suffice. Use generous amounts of water (huwag balde lang) and then a terry towel or microfibre towel to wash teh body and a chamois to dry... don't use pranella. This will not eradicated scratches/swirlmarks but it can help minimize.
Just observe for the defects (rough spots, fades, etc) that will come out then have the shop repair it (under warranty yan dapat). After 3 months, waxing once a month will help.
Allen Wrench, if its just dent you can try the paintless dent repair thang... It's in Buendia Auto Center along Jupiter St. (look for Rovic). For small dents they charge around 300++0 -

Thanks. You mean water lang? How about car shampoos? Hindi kasi ako satisfied sa tubig at punas lang.0 -
there's this carwash near lasalle that offers windshield cleaning.
1000 for everything, 400 kung windshield lang...
i dunno. haven't tried it yet, but i might soon, there are stains on my windshield that's been there for the longest time, under normal conditions they're not noticeable, but when it's raining, the streaks become visible.. it's a real hassle especially when driving at night..0
