" bal david, one of the best point guards ever to don the ginebra san miguel jersey,is leaving basketball with a heavy heart.
oh yes, the man called "the flash" is reportedly calling it quits after his unhealthy condition prevented him from to rejoin his mother team, prompting the illustrious member of batch 96 to hang up his jersey fo good
a reliable source told the peoples tonight that david has not been in good condition ever since he injured his knee
sidelined for over a year, the 5'9 pointguard has even failed to join team practices, which was the main reason why the former UST guard gave up his career
the same source added that david also learned that ginebra has no intentions of keeping his services afterall and the gin kings quarterback known for his several memorable game winning baskets decided to end up his career
"ang alam ko wala nang intensyon pa ang management to sign him up now that jayjay helterbrand is back in healthy condition" said the source " marami pang ibang player ang hindi na kukunin at pakakawalan ng management"
david has reportedly flown the country last weekend to go to the united states and work there
along with david, players who have left the team are the veteran estong ballesteros james wallkvist and aries dimaunahan whose contracts have expired last july 15
ballesteros has been practicing with coca-cola and dimauanahan has been targeted by fedex reportedly to shore up their backcourt"....
im not been a bal david nor a ginebra fan but with david leaving the team for good, the dismantling of the robert jaworski built 96-97 core team has been completed...:wondering:

hehe, cguro ganun nga....kasi sila ung mutt and jeff combination ng gineba before.
Bal's confidence took a dive when the team brought in Jay Jay Helterbrand. But not having his old running mates pretty much did him in.
Sayang, he could have been one of the all time best.
Good luck, Bal.
anyways back to the topic, i think latter part of bal's career nag dip talaga performance nya eh, got into a deep slump he couldn't get out of.
I'm sure Mike Mustre and Asi Taulava will remember him as well.
:rotflmao:
Tapos ngayon... wala na rin sya.
