Sex during Pregnancy - Is it BAD?
:?
Unregistered
Someone I really love is preggy right now (about 4 months already) Now, Is it bad to have sex during pregnancy? I want to be honest.. yes, I'm afraid to be on top because I might "bang" her tummy too much and our baby might get hurt.. is it true?
Any advice? More info you might need: She doesn't have bleeding, no history of miscarriage, and has a blood type of O.
(as if it matters)
Another Question: What does "First Trimester, Second Trimester and Third Trimester" all mean? In which trimester does she belongs to?
(4th month)
What positions you suggest to avoid "banging" the baby?
Thanks in Advance!

Your friend is on the 2nd trimester. It goes like this: 1 - 3 months it's first trimester, 4 - 6 months second tri, 7 - 9 third tri.
I honestly don't think it's harmful to do the act all the way through the last trimester but if you're concerned about positions, doggy style is safer.

It's safe to have sex up to the 9th month of pregnancy even with you on top. With a normal pregnancy, you can have sex up to the time the bag of water breaks, depending of course on your partner's comfort na. But check with your ob-gyne first if she's having problems with pregnancy, like history of preterm labor, bleeding, placenta previa or history of miscarriages, presence of contractions. You won't hurt the baby by making love. The mucus plug that seals the cervix helps guard against infection and the amniotic sac and the strong uterine muscles also protect the baby. Though the fetus may thrash around a bit after orgasm, it's because of the mother's pounding heart, not because he knows what's happening or feels pain.0

actually it is safe to have sex with ur preggy wife. the only problem may occur is premature birth. which is cause by the intensity of the force . . . u know what i mean.0

Yah, its ok to have sex, but i would suggest to refrain from doing the act when the baby is near term, especially stimulation of the woman's nipples'. Cause this stimulates the release of oxytocin which would result in premature labor!0

It's not bad to do "it" till the very end. Couples tend to think that it is bad to do "it" because of the baby. That is not the case. It's not like kids know what the heck is happening to them when that happens. Besides there is a lot of gap within the cervics. The only thing is that you do have to do other positions so as not to harm the baby. DOGGY STYLE!0
