Mayroon sa Godiva Skin Station. Sa price list nila, sabi lang "starts at P400." Per piece rin yata ang pricing. If you become a Godiva Club G member, may discount na malaki.

Hello! I'd like to know if it's safe to apply Flammazine on newly cauterized warts. I'm planning to have my warts removed this coming holiday, and I'm looking for a faster, more effective way of healing it.

I've been a big fan of Flammazine after a doctor prescribed it to treat my burns. It left my skin mark-free, even after getting 2nd degree burns. Can it do as well for cauterized warts?

Please read the previous posts, particularly the ones which tackle electrocautery.

It may cause some transient scarring, so unless the facial wart you have is in a "hidden" area, I'd suggest that you just undergo electrocautery.

what is the relationship between warts and std?

why are warts associated with std? ok, warts that appear near the genitalia are somehow understandable but how about the warts that appear on the extremities?

Warts are caused by papillomavirus subtypes. You don't get warts from frogs. You get them from direct contact with persons who have warts or using an infected person's used wet towels, etc.

Warts are fungal infections. They don't come and go, they remain until medical treatment is sought.

Doc Ira, I got confused with your two posts. So ano po ba talaga sa dalawa? From virus or fungus? Or both? Thanks

Warts are caused by viruses, the human papillomavirus. There are a lot of subtypes that's why we have different kinds of warts ( common wart, flat warts, plantar warts, etc.) These viruses are everywhere, we tend to get them if there is a disruption or break in the skin surface even if its a small scratch. The virus replicates so there's a tendency to spread. Although there are a lot of options, electrocautery is commonly done. It is safe and effective.:)

Observe your skin. If the warts did not recur, the skin will usually be similar to the surrounding areas (same level and texture).

Hello! I am a former therapist of this high-end facial salon in ortigas. I recommend that for skin problems, it is best to consult a certified dermatologist rather than those in facial centers. Even some doctors are just trained by a dermatologist (in my former workplace), they are specialist in some field (like the one we had, she is a nephrologist but she performs cautery for profession sake).

Now my question po... i had this wart (now warts, a total of three) on my right inguinal region. If i have a cautery machine, i would know how to remove it but since i dont.. i am more incline to resort to this "duofilm" recommended by my mom's derma. Is it safe to use for sensitive areas like the inguinals? Oddly, i just had another one exactly on my left nipple naman!! I am bothered because my special someone has many warts on the face. Could it be that i got it from him? I did not have any before we became intimate.

    Please help. Thanks.
