Great posts Clarkent! Commendable! Hopefully you'll update this thread with schedule of games as the weeks go by.
i'm not sure kung yung seating plan is sort of tradition na..
the last time na nakapanood ako.. katapat namin ang PCU (i remember it, kasi yung arrangement ng drums nila is D-O-L-P-H-I-S.. walang "N".. tawa kami ng tawa.."
and katabi din namin yung JRC/JRU.. na sinisigawan pa nga ng HOPYA! ng non-JRUans unang pagkarinig ko.. "bokya".. hopya pala..

Planning for a bigger and better collegiate basketball games this season, Letran College made a lot of changes as a host school in the coming 81st National Collegiate Athletic Association that will unfold on June 25 at the Araneta, Coliseum.
For so many years, the senior and junior matches are played in the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila. But starting this season, Letran is expecting a huge crowd so the host school is moving all the junior and senior matches to Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
Letran President-Rector and Rev. Fr. Edwin Lao, O.P. were at the forefront of the preparations of the country's oldest interscholastic sports meet and their first step is to put the students back to the aspects of the tournament.
"We are made up of institutions tasked to be agents of values formation. The NCAA should not be separate from our educational programs," said Fr. Lao, who is supervising the hosting arrangements.
The opening ceremony, which is usually dominated by professional performers in the past, has an all-student cast and revolves around the theme: "One at 81: Values Formation through Sports."
Director Monti Parungao, whose credentials includes the creative management of the Southeast Asian Games opening ceremony and is a regular member of MTV Philippines, is the one tasked to handle the opening ceremony.
Before the opening ceremony on June 25, Letran will have pre-opening activities on June 15 with a celebration of the Holy Mass at the SC Auditorium at 8:00am.
All teams are expected to join the media day and drug testing session organized by the Department of Health.
Also in the program is a dialogue between NCAA basketball commissioner Joe Lipa and the seven high school and eight college teams.
Commissioner Lipa is expected to lay down the rules and regulation of the league this season to ensure his smooth initiation of the NCAA cage wars on opening day.
Matches begins at the seniors category with Philippine Christian University opening its title defense bid against San Beda College at 2 pm then followed by the controversial combination of University of Perpetual Help-Dalta System and Colegio de San Juan de Letran at 4 pm.
San Sebastian College-Recoletos will go up against Mapua Institute of Technology at 6 pm while the College of St. Benilde and Jose Rizal University match-up will complete the day's line-up at 7:30 pm.
Juniors' division action starts on Monday, June 27, at the Cuneta Astrodome, where all other basketball games will be played.
