it is a fact that the new civic will be available later this year in n. america as a 2006 model.. which means, we'll have the car shortly after.

heck, i even doubt if we'll be getting the 1.8L VTec engine.. much less the 2.0L vtec..

800K is too much for an entry level car.

Entry level? Let's see, Vios, City, Picanto, Jazz, etc.

get teh 2.0L, get a K20AR manual tranny nd enjoy a manual 2.0 ES civic.

I guess with 800K you'd be looking more at the mid-variant 1600 cars like the Corolla Altis E, Lancer, Civic Vti, and Sentra amongst some. The top end Honda Jazz is shy of 700K right?

^Well, he's as king for an "entry level" car isn't he? I wouldn't classify Civics, Altis & Mazda 3s as "entry level", would you? Perhaps a decade or so ago but not today. If he's really going to go for an "entry level" car, may sukli pa siya para pang-gasolina at maintenance for the next two years or so. Now isn't that practical?:D

I have the same sentiment the Lynx RS is ok but may be phased out when the Focus RS comes out in a few month's time.

for 800k you can have lots of choices since that budget would fit most mid to high level sedans.i love hondas and their quality but the new mazdas just look super sexy!

What body configuration do you prefer?
New or used?
What kind of engine do you want?
What kind of drivetrain do you want (2wd, 4wd, AWD)?
What will you be using it for?

Just buy something that fills your needs and satisfies your wants.
