Signal Light Bulbs

My car's rear signal light is busted. I drive an Astra Wagon.

Do i need to buy a specific brand of bulb or I can just go the nearest car shop and say I need rear signal light bulbs for my car?

And can they install the bulb as well?

not sure with euro cars but better take out the busted bulb and show it to the shop for a perfect match.

^^ I agree. take out the busted bulb and also take note of the voltage / wattage. putting in a bulb that is too powerful for your connections may burn the whole part.
  • If you can find a light bulb of the same voltage and amperage rating with the same physical configuration to fit the socket, it will work even if it is of a different brand!

you might also want to check out the owners manual for the instructions on how to remove/install the bulbs. oh and you might also want to replace both bulbs na coz sooner or later the older bulb will burn out din.
  • I own an Astra Wagon too. Parts are expensive as hell. Except the bulbs.

Just go to an auto accessories store. It's only P80 if I remember correctly.

If you can't remove the bulb, just go to your suking Auto Supply and ask them to change it for you... It's nothing different from those of other Jap and Korean cars. ;)
