Racket ng mga Gasoline Boy attendant

Nadiskubre ko ito. (And how stupid of me..)
Di daw kasi calibrated yung gas pump to fill in P1000.
Nagpakarga ako minsan, same gas station P1000. New gas attendant. Sabi ng gas attendant, P500 muna and then another P500 ulit ang pag karga.
Strapped my seatbelt, then andar na kase it's a monday and traffic is hell, don't wanna ba late for work.

uy, masamang raket yan ah.
from a maintenace point of view, a dispensing pump should not have any problems dispensing 500 pesos worth of any fuel. A regular service station pump is calibrated to dispense up to 10 thousand pesos worth of fuel in one go. isumbong nyo kaagad sa station manager pag ganyan.0 -
Bakit di self-service dito 'ka mo? It's because people here will make a job out of anything.
correct me if im wrong0 -
I had the same problem before... sa shell katipunan naman... i asked the boy to fill up 1,000 lang... and tapos na and i did not get the receipt...
pag alis ko... di pa umaangat ang gauge where it suppose to be after filling up 1,000 worth of gas...
bumalik ako.... pero walang umamin....
hard to trust people eh0 -
hmmm... i fill up 1k+ sa trooper. pero that incident never happened....
though, i usually pay card..
and even if i pay cash, I LOOK AT THE FREAKING METER, before paying the attendant.. and most times than not, i guess force of habit from the states, i personally go to the cashier. and pay by myself.0 -

going to ateneo, is it the first one (near st ignatius vill w/ digital air pump) or the one nearer to ateneo?0 -
Which Shell Katips? There are three in that area (White Plains, Blue Ridge, and La Vista). I pass that area everyday but i dont gas up there as they're usually higher then the other gas stations by around 5-10 centavos at the average.
Here's a good habit; Make it a point to go down from the car when they gas up so that:
- You can check that they put the proper gas (mamaya diesel yung nalagay, that happened to our driver twice).
- You can check that they have inputed the proper amount
- You can check that they closed your gas cap well (also, if they actually returned your gas cap!).0 -

i dont think it works this way. i believe may system na in place which would automatically relay the sales to the cashier.
falsifying receipts? tax evasion maybe.0 -

haha! dun sa 2 stations na to lang ako nagpapagas ever since. shell katipunan near shoppersville (aron shell service station) and shell st. ignatius (ivanson's shell service station).
never encountered any problems. i thought the service was good. they will start by saying "sir nasa 0 na po" tapos iiwan na nila nakasaksak until mapuno. after that bigay na credit card, pirma, and then tapos.
Palagay ko talaga, it was just the gas attendant.
In other words, estafa, and the gas station is the victim.0 -

Ever tried reporting it to whoever runs the gas station rather than talk here? If this goes on, eventually, the gas station will shut down while the thieves will drink the supposed profits used for paying the gas station's overall maintenance. Everyone will eventually loose, including the motorists. Better damn one person who is the cause of it all rather than wait for what will be the inconvenience of everyone else. In the end, you could say that you've helped rid of society's unwanted folks.0
