nice enough...not what i was expecting based dun sa mga spyshots dati...though too conservative for a concept.

Not exactly red, it's the signature copper color Brembo uses for their brakes.
  • not bad. mukhang vios na may halong accord.

    malamang remote door locks.

para nga lang masyadong constricted yung exhaust.
  • It's called a concept car to give you guys an idea of how the production model will look. It doesn't look exactly like the production model, it's safe to say there are going to be door handles on the production model.
  • magkano naman kaya yan heheheh and sarap tingnan.. mukhang hangang tingin lang ako.... haaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy..... :D

its reminiscent of the current honda city and the euro accord. looks more decent than sporty. but it seems to be the trend on most cars so what can we do? personally don't like cars with high belt line but i guess this design will soon grow on most people. anyway the presence of brembo brakes could tell that this is one powerful car.
  • the rims look to be at least 16s. 18s at the max.

it looks too much like an Audi TT or a 350z. doesn't rank high on originality.
  • First, consider the 200-hp dohc i-VTEC engine, six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. The current Si offers “only” 160 hp, a five-speed manual and an open diff. So the concept promises to be a better car right out of the box. The European Civic Si already has 200 hp, so if we want to get miffed about that, we have every right. But no other U.S.-market Civic—Si or otherwise—has ever offered as much manufacturer-supplied power or as many gears as this concept promises. And good news: That limited-slip diff means power won’t be wasted spinning the inside tire in the corner. Top it off with a suitable exhaust note, and Honda is halfway there.

The concept has 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels with 225/45 R-rated “high-performance” tires. These we can assume will at least be offered on a production version since even the Chevy Cobalt offers a set of 18-inch shoes. Four-wheel discs with four-piston Brembo calipers and cross-drilled rotors are on the concept—we don’t know if all four pistons will make production, but they look nice on the show stand.

yeah.. i guess yung front looks like an accord, yung body, shaped like a 350z (not as egg shell looking however) and yung end is kinda like a city..

    i personally like it alot.
  • I'm guessing it'll cost as much as the highest end Accord if it were sodl here.

Here's what I think. This car looks a LOT like the Acura RSX (aka DC5 Honda Integra) in general. Significant portions have also been ripped off from the Fit Aria/City (taillamps) and JDM Odyssey (headlights).

That rear wing is a nice bit of kit though. Aggressive but discreet.

As for the engine I think someone's been mouthing off about the K20A Type R version being mounted into this thing. Fitting an LSD's going to make it expensive though IMO.

Overall I still prefer the RSX Type S (or Integra Type R for you JDM freaks).

Because they're busy wiping their dripping saliva!:D

What I like about the Design of Honda is that it grows up on you, you learn to like it as time goes by. Take the case of the current Accord. The first time I saw it, I though it was butt ugly and felt the old one looks better. But over time, it slowly looked better and better. Compare that with Ford's Taurus. I thought it looked stunning ang futuristic compared to equivalent Accord the first time I saw it. After a while you get tired of it. It's ok to get tired of it if every other car you see on the road (like the Camry) is a Taurus but you rarely see them on the road.

that's what good about honda cars. at first you may not like the design, but eventually you will. i remember the first time i saw the ek civic vti, the big headlights looked weird. after a few years i learned to like it. then after a while, most new cars seem to have followed the headlight design of the civic. i dunno with you guys, but that's what i think.

Yes, the Civic Si concept is a nice car.

All I'm saying is, if Honda wanted to make the new Civic Si look unique, I really think they failed. *points to DC5 Integra Type R above*
