Locally Toyota seems to have been left behind in the general drive to spruce up pickups to make them more car-like. Opinion ko lang.

The full model name seems to be the "Hilux Vigo"

It's the same as the VIGO in other markets. Toyota is dropping the VIGO name in the local market and is still sticking with Hilux.

Available in 4x4 and 4x2 models A/T and M/T with a diesel engine and a double cab configuration.

The 4x4ph.com peeps have checked it out already.

I've seen interior photos of the Hilux. I'm glad Toyota's improved.

The dash has major bits from the Echo (center console) and City/Jazz (gauge cluster).

Note the unorthodox location of the transfer case (?) lever...it's in front of the A/T selector lever, not beside it.

hmm.. i checked toyota thailand's website..
inova nila will come in 2 engines-

2.0L 132Ps VVTi
and 2.5 102PS CRDi...

so maybe...??

man.. 132 ps is like 140 hp... on a revo.. haha.. i no longer have any reason to feel ashamed to drive an AUV

on a side note, published sa papers ang prices ng new hi- lux.

750k for the cheapest model.. that's mighty enticing. so maybe the new hi lux and the innova will share the same 2.5L engine?
