The design study looks like a whale shark. Hope it performs better than it looks.

Hmmm...Mitsubishi seem to be going the "R34 Skyline GT-R" route with the front-end styling. Just look at that gaping airdam...it seems to dominate 2/3 the face.

I like the headlight treatment though.

As with all concepts, this design ain't final by a long shot. I hear this Evo X and the next one (XI) might also be offered in a 2-door coupe configuration as well?

As long as they keep the spirit of the 4WD Evolutions, then I don't have much complaints abouth the looks... only thing that upset me with the USDM Evo VIII was the fact that they took out the ACD/AYC drive systems because they weren't in keeping with the "American" market. I didn't even mind the power drop to comply with emissions regulations in the US as compared to the 4WD compromises. Oh well... I just hope they're not designing the next Evos with the US too much in mind.

I posted an Evo IX picture a month ago, it's not much different from the current Evo VIII apart from the huge Evo IV-style foglamps.

you dont buy an evo for its looks or its prestige. you buy it because of its the best drivers car for that amount of money.

Form always follows function when it comes to the Evo.

^ True... but hey, production cars don't always come out looking like their concept counterparts in the end so it's unlikely that the X will look like the above pics... but yeah... I don't care much for how an Evo looks like as long as it performs as an Evo should.
