Sa pagkakaalam ko, ang civil service ay ginagamit kung ninanais mong pumasok sa mga kagawaran ng pamahalaan.

    Yup! you're right...

It's also a good thing working in a Government agency...coz of the benefits...usually yung mga new graduates eh ang goal is to work in a Private corp...pero in the long-run mas maganda ang future mo din sa Gov't agency...benefits and other compensation packages...

I hope lang no more graft and corruptions...oh gosh! another 6 years with Arroyo...

^ Sobrang dali. I finished it in twenty minutes and got only three mistakes, which wasn't my fault since they were stupid questions about the history of the Civil Service Exams. :)

^ one hundred twenty yata. you take the test on a computer kaya mabilis. pindot ka lang ng ABCD. the results are out an hour after the official time ends.

plum_sum20: you can buy one of those reviewers they have at national book store kung sigurista ka but anyone who passes a college entrance test can pass this.

alam ko you only have to take it kapag walang board exam ang course mo. kung meron kayong board at pumasa ka, kahit wag ka na magtake ng CSE.

Sabi friend ko basics lang daw yun, sa math ung +,-,x and / lang. Tsaka fractions...

Hi! Mag-eexam po ako sa october.
By any chance po, meron po bang questions from the reviewer na makikita sa actual exam?

It depends.. Kung ang post na inaapplyan mo requires you to be a board passer kahit may CS eligibility ka it's not enough.. If let's say papasok ka sa PNP at Criminology graduate ka and you passed the Criminology board exam, makakapasok ka sa PNP kahit hindi ka CS passer.. In every government post na aapplyan mo you always check the requirements..

Hinid na kailangan, based on RA 1080. AUtomatic professional rating ka na.

Pero sa ibang ahensya me hiring di kailangan ng backer da DOJ ombudsman nangangailangan ng mga lawyers laki ng case backlog.

Yes I agree with you.. Hindi naman sa lahat, pero karamihan ng government agencies talagang palakasan para makapasok.. Mas matindi ang case backlogs sa courts in the Metro Manila.. Law graduates can apply as Court Decongestion Officers, at maraming courts dyan walang palakasan dahil mas gusto nila na magaling ang mahire nila..
  • HELLO PO. what if not related sa proffesion ko ung aapplyan sa goverment but im a board passer?

Civil Service po ata covers many area. If you're a board passer in a specific professional discipline, then that's another case po. Ano po ba nakalagay sa requirements? If pwedeng substitute ang board exam sa cs, then okay, if not, i think you need a cs to apply or be qualified atleast.

The exam has a consistent 10 -12% passing rate.. so kung masasabi mong madali yan e siguro sinuwerte ka at alam mo yung topics.. its also impossible  to finish the written exam in less than 2hrs kasi mahaba sya.. Honestly, its better to be ready than rely on others opinion.. I took the exam and luckily passed it on my first try.. my advice is aralin nyo paano sagutan yung exam.. as per benefits marami.. Aside from possibly having employment in a Govt Office.. pwede mo rin gamitin ito to boast your qualification when applying for a position in a private company..
