The problems with AUVs now is that the cost of a car like that is pretty steep and its not because of the actual value but the taxes. :( A VX200 is almost at the 1M mark right? Even if you put all the leather and stuff, its still a REvo AUV. If that was the case (and price), i'd go for a van like the Mitsu Space Gear gasoline which sells for 1.1M brand new... or a second hand (slightly used) Nissan Serena which goes for 700-800+K.

The Revo gas variant has been subject to fuel consumption complaints BTW. Especially on the 1.8L a/t version.

But as far as durability is concerned, there's no problem to that. :) If i were purchasing a Revo (2nd hand), i'd go for the diesel variant.

amen... an auv for almost 1m is not worth it! get a crv or xtrail na lng

thing is... CRVs and XTrails aren't really SUVs. they're still essentially based on a platform primarily meant for cars.

and i can attest to the gas guzzling ability nung 1.8L model.. haha..

anyway, if i were to buy an auv, i'd buy the cheapest model. god forbid will i allow dealers to earn more money because of accessories..

shun_sakurai when in doubt, FLAT OUT!
    Revo...again?

Personally I've had my fill of that car. I'd bite the bullet, save just enough to breach the PhP1 million psychological barrier and get something else. Not an AUV, mind you.

really good advice...with the gasoline prices going up, i'd avoid the CRV's and XTRAIL's. i'd get something more fuel efficient.

Starex? not sure if matid yun sa fuel.. but keep in mind na it will be a tad hard to drive.

dahil it's very long saka medyo malake. hence mabigat.

Feedback from the Starex is that its fuel efficient. If you were to get one though, look for a 2001 model up (the newer the better). Although the Starex has improved quite much from the time it was first intro'd in 1997, Korean cars still tend to be a bit less durable in age vis a vis Jap cars. But i'd still seriously consider the Starex as it shares parts and platform with the Mitsu Space Gear. Plus side to it is that you get a good comfy family van with a diesel engine and auto tranny unlike the Crosswind/REvo/Adventure which wouldnt be as comfy.
