I find the "scientific study on human cognition" approach very cheeky and amusing. On the first scenes it could really pass up for a pitch to a Discovery program

All I can say is...makulit siyang TV commercial.

It fooled and entertained me the first time I saw it, but when I see it on a regular basis it just annoys me. For an advertisement, it just takes too long to make its point.

I've seen this on Star World as well, so it's not restricted to Discovery Channel alone (although I agree with you on the Discovery program pitch thing).
