    Vinegar.

    Acetic acid is the best way to neutralize the stingers and vinegar has it...

    Alcohol is the worst treatment for stings as it triggers the stingers...

    You can actually use alcohol as well as vinegar for first aid for jellyfish stings. Both can paralyze the discharge of nematocysts. You'll have to get a tweezer to remove the stinger after you splash the area with either alcohol or vinegar. Apply shaving cream and start shaving with a razor after you've removed the stinger, and then splash again with either vinegar or alcohol. For the itch, you can buy hydrocortisone cream over-the-counter. Just apply the cream 3x a day for the itching, as needed.
