In my own opinion go for performance first goodies. One that will benefit you and your car like a aftermarket airfilter, a strut bar. Then get a nice set of mags and good tires.:)

    CLY bummer
i suggest a good looking set of 14-15 inch mags along with a good set tires like bridgestone or dunlop. maybe some sideskirts and chin spoilers, and a medium black 3m tint would also make your car look better.

What are your priorities? Looks? Performance? A little of both?

If i had one, i'd start with the rims as i've seen some who have changed to 16's or 17's and they did imrpove the look. I would avoid those chrome shiny doodads and clear tail lights as well (not my taste and not safe).

On the performance siode, take the time to wait and get feedback on what can be done since this is a fairly new car with not much aftermarket support yet outside of changing your intake system.

Of course, try to look also for suspension and brake mods/upgrades if possible... you can never get enough of these. :)

    well check my pbase

a good set of rims and tires will do, you can go up to 18" rims with 40 series tire....engine performance upgrade? forget it!!

The GD6 City looks great with large rims (by that, I mean 17" and larger). You should check out Ozcity's pbase galleries :D

In stock form kasi, the GD6 City's body is so tall that its stock 14" wheels look pathetic.

As for bodykits...there are some really nice looking ones, but for now I recommend staying stock. Same for the lights. The car already employs "robot"-looking lights a bit as it is.

Be aware though that this might void your warranty.

As for engine upgrades...people have commented that the GD6 City's hood will swallow a 2.0L K20A engine (CR-V, Accord), but I still have my doubts. Not many mods exist for the stock L13A engine so I suggest leaving it alone.

If you can somehow source an L15A VTEC engine...you can drop that into the City smoothly. :D

pag ako, wlang tint, no sticker sa windsheild, then i would put 17 inch mag wheels, advan tires, then install headlight washers, european plates, xenon headlights , strobe lights (sa loob ng headlights, puti lang..)

    Donts:

    Chrome ek-ek
    tachometer
    indiglo gauges
lexus is200 or toyota alteza type rear lights (if any)
    blue interior lights

yun lang... no offense to people who likes those stuffs... thats just my plain opinion... =)

    Haha! Those chromes!

A nice tint and Wheels will do for a great look! For starters anyways!

Good luck with your ride btw..
  • a nice set of mags would do the trick. stick with 15"

but putting them on would void your warranty.

or just upgrade the sound system. get an amp, new head unit, 6x9s and youre good to go.

    VASELINO...
15" would look adequate on a new GD6 City (the body's too darn tall). For all-out porma, I'd still recommend the 17s though.
  • shun_sakurai: youre right...17 for all out porma. but according to malaysian city owners, putting 17" mags would cause the electronic power steering and abs to malfunction
