hi guys and gals

lets talk about the honda civic esi

i have the 1995 model and its still a pocket rocket, it has good fuel efficiency and if i might say it saves a lot on fuel, and very good acceleration.

so wat have u guys done on ur esi?

i have the following modifications

1. simota airfilter
2. turbo stormy

changed the color to the HRV color blue

I also have a Civic ESi... '93 model... love this car. I think it's one of the best Civics around... the handling is great for it's class, and the engine is superbly modular as well... you can find all sorts of things that you can stick into that engine block.

Yep, I also think the 1992-95 "EG"-series Civics are the best-looking of the lot.

If you're after big power, you can consider swapping out the stock D16/PH16 ESi engine for the B16A engine of the SiR.

Or, you can stick a turbo on the ESi engine...D-series engines are better for turbo applications than B-series engines.

I have heard bad raps about automatic "EG" Civics though...

heheh thanks guys i plan on keeping my esi for a long time i keep it rustproofed at least once a year by the tuffkote dinol in timog near the midas place there its cheap and all

wat are ur thoughts on the turbo stormy?

btw im not too keen on engine swaps, lotsa paper work and tsambahan din sa engine would rather keep it stock and save on fuel.

Just watch out for clusters little "bubbles" that form on the metal roof. A friend's EG Civic sprouted them and there's no way to prevent/repair it.

HCPI told my friend that the coating for the metal roof isn't as robust as that of the other panels. Not that dangerous though.

BTW I'm not an EG Civic owner, just a lover of Hondas
